Excellent! Very memorable moments. The low register double stops alternating with the descent in natural harmonics-lovely. The contrast between the strong pizzicato with the thumb and the traditional manner plucking is subtle but remarkable. The left hand pizzicato accompaniment to the arco line is well conceived and brilliantly executed. It is as if the pizz lines retreat from foreground to background as the arco material enters. Wonderful playing.
What a load of absolute CRAP.....speak the truth its just shite, why is this obviously talented Musician wasting her tallent playing such rubbish, it will probably do her instrument a lot of harm because it makes my ears bleed.
Come on .......It's Freekin awful, notes picked out of a hat full of notes....randomly... that should never be anywhere near each other....I despair at todays so called Composers.
Dont think older qualification for19th century music and art pertain to later music.Athematicism cares little for what can be remembered and disorder too and arbitrariness have a place in creativity. I dont know JacksonPollocks system or nonsystem but you c a n be sure his creativity sparked composers too. We must listen with new ears!@@frederickjonesrbsa7279
Great music and excellent presentation; loved the sparse or empty room with 18th century(Louis quinze?) salon sofa.Sophisticated and aesthetically right for Benjamin. I find this music sparse and more interesting than Berio's celebrated sequenzas.
I have listened to the first 30 seconds and my ears are bleeding.....absolutely AWFUL...this is NOT music in any way shape or form. any one who says differently has no musical ear whatsoever......the same can be achieved by assembling infants and giving them there first instrument to play....note after note that should never be next to each other. the old masters must be turning in their graves.
We have to remember the old masters themselves were composing what is viewed as controversial and unacceptable by their contemporaries as well. It will always be a relative argument.

Enchanting! Thank You.

No,the old masters are writing this music and reading and listening to everything they can so they rightfully know what's happening in the now!
You must have very sensitive ears, the first piece is so quiet.
