I’m gonna retire from a corporate role. I want to convert all my tuck in shirts to untuck casual shirts. I NEEDED this video. You are so kind to have posted it for me. And you are pleasant as well my dear!
Now this was really nice. I thought you did a fantastic job explaining the steps and the shirt look professionally done, it turned out great. thank you so much for sharing the video. I hope to see more like it in the future...take care😊
idk if this is even possible, but is it possible to hem a shirt while keeping the original hem? because my school shirt has a lining on the hem and i dont want it to look strange

Hi Vivian! It’s so nice to hear from you and I’m so glad you enjoyed this video!🥰💕💐
I just shortened one of my shirts. I ironed it before/during pinning the seam but otherwise followed the instructions exactly. Thank you!
Very glad to hear that you were able to shorten it. I am doing more of mine this week. Thanks for watching!
Thank you. A very clear video. I enjoy your videos. You have a unique style, wardrobe and approach.
Thank you so much for your comment and I am happy you enjoy my videos. 🥰
Purple is my favourite colour Pip! Great job, you make it look very easy! Love Debra xxx
I love purple too! I hope you are doing well and thanks again for watching!💕💕
Thank you for this tutorial!
@@AJ-ti6zh You’re welcome! I’ll be having a lot more easy sewing and beginner reworking clothing videos starting Friday, so stay tuned for more. 🥰
With that thin a seam, do you recommend pressing the seam prior to sewing?
I press afterwards because I have been doing this for 10 years, but you can press before if it's easier. Both ways are going to give same results.
Thank you so much, this video was really helpfull! Now i can finally wear my shirt in cute outfits where it doesn't look goofy
You're so welcome!
Great video!! Thank you :D

If you hem it properly, it never looks strange. That is an alteration for jeans when you keep the original hem usually.
Wonderful tutorial!! Thank you :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the super helpful tutorial....also your psychedelic t-shirt is cool. Can I ask where it's from?
I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the tutorial. The t-shirt was a gift, but they are album covers from the band Guided by Voices.
Lifesaver 🙌🏽
Oh, I am glad to hear this! Thanks for watching!
Def going to try this!
You can totally do this girl! I know it. Good luck!
cool, thank you!
I used duct tape and it didn't work
Haha! Duct tape works for everything though! LOL
Great tutorial but it's sad there has to be cussing in it.
Glad you liked the tutorial. Thanks for watching!
It's sad you're so easily offended 😢
@@robolyn Are you offended that I'm offended? 0_o
@@joshwilcox8941 not in the least. I find it weak and pathetic
@@robolyn That sounds exactly like something someone would say if they were offended
