Worst is the red light jumper because he's willfully putting children in danger. One at the end is silly but it was a mistake and hopefully a learning experience, the guy going through the red lights will probably keep doing that until he injures someone.
Have to say on balance the fast cyclist on the pavement before cutting back across the pedestrian crossing was worst, just for potential for injury and sheer idiocy. Last one, the right hook was a silly mistake, but honourable mention to the stupid reckless filtering who could have gone under the HGV or the Bus.
One thing that occurs to me now watching these that I'm not sure was on my mind in when the last Silly Cyclists video was released...thank goodness these people are choosing to cycle rather than drive! Phew!
Good to see these making a comeback. Reckless filtering - speed through the junction and going past the bin wagon, not really knowing what is beyond it and that the on-coming bus was having to move over to pass a another vehicle.
Really Nice to see these back. Something you did which I would like to see again were clips of sensible cyclists, to show people what you should do and why.
Yo i know this is slightly late but it's really nice to see this series again, most of these videos were part of my early teenage years while learning to ride the roads (12~13y/o kid on the road on my own to school and back home then moving onto road bikes and then getting my drivers' licence at 18 with the army where i'm from. I can now drive cars, small/mid sized lorries and HGVs at 23y/o, still a trainee for a bus company as of now and still cycle the roads.) It's really nice to be able to pull experiences from different platforms to help with everyday travel/work.) Cheers from Singapore. Hope you're well, Gaz and Happy Lunar New Year (as of today in S.E.A 22/01/23)
I love watching silly cyclists who exposes that a minority of cyclists are reckless. I was crossing a zebra crossing when a reckless cyclist rode over as people were crossing. He clipped an old woman who fell to the ground and flew into me, forcing me to break my glasses, get a cut in my head and broke my nose. The cyclist was never caught, but he won't be the last and I am glad that a cyclist has made a channel to hopefully make other cyclists of the dangers of cycling recklessly.
The poor cycling infrastructure and the stupid notion of bicycle/car equivalence in the UK tends to put off all but the most confident or aggressive cyclists. The Netherlands holds it's hands up in despair.
That red light jumper put so many people at risk and clearly it’s habitual. That’s also the one who makes it hard to advocate for increased cycling infrastructure. The right hook is a close runner up. I guess as more people get out of their cars and into their bikes they continue to ride like they drive; without any thought to others sharing the road with them.
The one that annoyed me the most was the red light jumper, placing multiple people at risk plus they know running red light is illegal but chose selfishness over safety.
I'm glad you post a New video. It really made me smile since i've watch all of them like 6 years ago, wondering if there was gonna be any more. Keep'em comming
I'm going to go with the reckless filterer as most likely to be nominated for a Darwin Award. The last one (right hook) and the red light jumper nearly bowling out the kids were both terribly dangerous to others.
Yes the last one was the worst because he affected two other cyclists with his right hook. But a close second was the cyclists jumping the red lights when there was vulnerable users crossing. The crazy guy doing the mad filtering at speed luck may run out one day, if it hasn't happened already! Nice set of examples.
We share the same cycling route so I'm familiar with the clips. Last one for sure is the biggest idiot followed by the guy who almost hits you from behind. Unlucky to be surrounded by 2 people with their minds up in the sky. Keep up the good work raising awareness of what happens on the roads 👏
“Red Light Jump” at the pedestrian crossing. Absolutely ridiculous manoeuvre. If you are in the mindset of maintaining momentum then accidents will happen. So lucky nobody was injured.
Soooo glad this is back. Got to be reckless filtering for me. Guy knew what he was doing but carried on. Last clip is an amateur who SHOULD have learnt from that mistake
We don’t see many cyclists pointing out the wrongdoings of other cyclists. Most of the videos here on UA-cam is about vigilante cyclists on a mission to reprimand drivers and pedestrians. You should make more of these.😊
Definitely the red light jumper for me as that clip contained two of my pet hates in one. First of all, the obvious red light jumping. I never jump red lights as I actually enjoy the rest period that they often provide. And seeing adults riding on the pavement just winds me up. As far as I'm concerned, adults (and teenagers for that matter) don't belong on the pavement. Often when I see them doing so, they're travelling way faster than a pedestrian would. With the growing popularity of ebikes, both these events are becoming more and more common. Maybe new bikes should be supplied with a copy of the highway code. You can't force anyone to read them, but at least they can't argue they've never seen a copy! 😁
Great to have you back young man. I have missed your videos and very reasonable objective comments. Too many UA-cam videos have angry and biased commentaries. Keep it up and keep safe.
I like the balance of these videos. So many now are just angry cyclists riding in the middle of the road to antagonise other road users and get a close pass or a beep to moan about.
Red light jumper for me. Hopping the pavement at speed, with no visibility, with lots of pedestrians - that's ultimate silly and dangerous. Last dude made a bad mistake, but likely will learn from it and be more cautious making that kind of turn. Red light dude won't have learned a thing.
Welcome back! Definitely the last one. As usual Christian motoring didn't help either, stoping in the keep clear encouraging him to proceed to turn instead of following the rules
With the clipless pedals - we've all done it! I remember falling off a couple of times when I first started to use them. Not sure it's really worthy of inclusion, he wasn't one of those guys riding with a lack of consideration for others.... In answer to your question it would def be the red light jumper , especially in that situation. I don't agree with any red light jumping, but there is a difference between creeping over when it's completely empty and what that guy did.
Right hook to me is the worst. The thing that infuriates me the most. Cyclist putting another cyclist at risk. Had the same on Creek Rd, apparently it was my fault too lol
No thought was put into the creation of cycle lanes . Footclips: They are impractical in cities with a lot of traffic lights. Those foot cage strap ones are a better idea. 3:46 That cyclist that came from the right had no idea what was beyond the bin lorry and bus. Supposing a vehicle was pulling out? At that speed he wouldn't be able to stop
Reckless filtering was the most dangerous to himself. RLJ on the path most dangerous to others. Last one most dangerous to you Hard to say which is worst outright!
Always tough to pick a winner although someone willfully risking wiping out a kid on the pavement - or anywhere else for that matter - is more than a silly cyclist. As a cyclist I'd prefer a different descriptive altogether maybe ' pricks on bikes' ? Sooner this example has saved up enough for that BMW the better.
The only way the conflict that's now endemic on the roads is ever going to be checked is by videos like these. Cyclists are the ones to police themselves, drivers are out of the frame only being seen as handy cash cows. Lets have a bit of understanding of all road users without retreating into the hacknied positions that we always seem to go.
Why so many cyclist in your videos including yourself treat a busy road with heavy traffic and pedestrians on the side walks like a velodrome or tour de france on the finishing leg? I am a cyclist myself and a ecyclist with a fast bike but never go at those speeds yous do on these videos for safety reasons unless I'm in the car lane and traveling same speed as traffic when safe doing so.
All the *reckless* speeding cyclists are silly, yet riding fast in itself is not necessarily reckless, but keeping up the high speed regardless of anything is. The pavement red runner close call on the kids was pretty rude act indeed. Also the last one is far too common scene, some people just don't pay attention and are not prepared to anything, especially things like slowing down and yielding for other cyclists when it's their duty.
Its a toss up between the RLJ and the right hook for me. But to be honest, a its a RLJ. Right hooks and be sorted with infrastructure. That Pavement mounting RLJ was some pretty awful cycling mentality.
@@MarcoTheGreat2008 what do you think? Can runners run at 30mph and do they have hard metal or carbon machines that can kill ir badly injure pedestrians? With no insurance or accountability if they kill someone?

Wow, if a motor vehicle driver (bike or car) was caught doing most of these manoeuvres, they'd probably face a ban. Amazing how anyone would place there personal safety (and the safety of others) so far below getting somewhere quickly. Totally mindless and antisocial.

Red light jumper on the pavement for sure.... he could have seriously injured children.

Reckless filtering - speed through the junction and going past the bin wagon, not really knowing what is beyond it and that the on-coming bus was having to move over to pass a another vehicle.

The one filtering between the lorry and the bus with the car coming from the left was absolutely insane.
Waited years for this lol
No word of a lie as well!
That dangerous filtering one was a proper old skool bit of silly cycling.
The last one
Welcome back. That right hook was unbelievable.
Wonder if any of the cyclists featured will see this video. Would probably increase their lifespan.
Glad to see you back :-)
For me it's got to be the pavement/red light jumper. That's lethal for more vulnerable road users!
Good call!
That last right hook would’ve gotten an absolute barrage of abuse from me.
please post more i love these type of videos
The RLJ on the pavement was the worst, but that was so clearly a move he pulls often, it was 2nd nature. Welcome back...
