  • Push Coil
Push Coil is actually known as Open coil springs. It is used to open up space. They are used on the main wire. When it is compressed between two or more teeth, it exerts the force outwards from centre, which pushes the teeth along with it with force.
The force is usually determined by the length. More the compression, more the force it is. However, by saying that excessive force cannot be used. The ideal length would be from the end of one bracket to the full size of the other bracket.
Please note, Push coil shouldn’t be used with NiTi wires and Terminal end of the push coil should be quicklig.
To see how to place a push coil, watch the video above.

It is possible, we would advise speaking with your specialist. You may need implant/bridge.
      I hope this helps.

The question is not very clear, but if you're asking about the archwire, it should be stainless steel or rectangular NiTi to provide active push-coil.
