    The Washwow looks like a food sanitizer that Ann Reardon just discussed on her channel How To Cook That. As a food scientist, she was able to explain how electrolysis works and why a device this size isn't going to be effective. So no surprise it didn't imress you. I didn't see your original review for the food slicer, but that certainly peaked my interest!

    I bought one of those pump slicers because of your review and I love it! I use it almost daily for sweet potatoes. I've used it to cut carrots for soup and had so many compliments on how super thin my carrot slices were. I absolutely love that slicer and if it ever breaks I'll run right out to get another one

      @dcwatashi Рік тому +1

      Yes I just put that in my cart on Amazon. I have a slicer from over 20 years ago and you have to keep changing the blades and it’s a little bit scary. I probably would have more salads for example if it didn’t take forever to cut things

    • @sandybruce9092
      @sandybruce9092 Рік тому

      I have k e of those slicers but as yet (more than a year) I haven’t used it. I’ve had a V-Slicer for more than 30 years (a mandolin) and it works perfectly - maybe I need to give my slicer like the one you showed just to see how I like it. One big thing is that I can use larger diameter veggies (like potatoes) that won’t fit into the push slider.

      @@sandybruce9092 that’s the kind that I have what you called the V slicer and I have this one in my cart on Amazon because even using the little holder with the prongs I still feel like it’s too dangerous

      @@dcwatashi I’ve never had a single ooops with the V Slicer. Sometimes I use the holder and sometimes I don’t % but I’m very careful. Yes, I do need to change blades but it’s so much easier,to clean - just wash any individual,blade used. There are some really nice sliders available and if a person finds one that works - great! I do,love kitchen gadgets so I sometimes need to be careful about buying the newest item😄😄😄😄.

    19:50 scrubbers and sponges that suggest you put soap in them actually work better if you put water in them and drizzle a little soap on them as normal. Instead of having way too much soap, you get just the right amount of soap for a lot of dishes and it is optimally hydrated. Works much better than the intended use of the reservoir! (I usually use the one with the sponge end) Edit: I change the water after every washing- you don't want it to sit and grow things.

    I actually found out recently that the ninja creamis way of making ice cream comes from a restaurant grade expensive machine, as in you have a frozen puck that gets shredded to pieces by blades.
    I think that machine was over 50,000, making the ninja even more value for the price

    • @medes5597
      @medes5597 Рік тому +1

      It's about 15,000 I don't know where you got 50 from. And the restaurant version is a lot more powerful.
      But yeah, the original patent ran out and Ninja produced a cost reduced version almost immediately. It you have a use for the Nija Creami then they're more than worth any money. Amazing machines.

      Yeah I actually remember/found out that I was leaving comments ripping on the ninja creami for being useless only to find out it was based on an expensive professional and a UA-camr even tested it only to find that the creami is nearly as good mostly just a weaker motor that wouldn’t stand up to constant industrial use. But 50k is kinda nuts from what I heard the pacojets were around 3-8 thousand dollars. Not even 15k like the other commenter said

    Thanks for the review! I bought Ninja Creami only because of your review. 😊
    Here in Texas, the hot weather lasts so many months cold foods feel better to eat than hot stuff. It works very well to make all natural ice cream, easy to add even veggies to children's ice cream. Most store bought has too much additives and sugar.
    I have multiple kitchen gadgets and slicers, but if you still use your slicer that much, I believe it would work for me also.
    A second one I think to buy after seeing this is that floor mop. I use steam cleaner, but it requires more time to heat it, power cord etc. This mop could be handy, just a quick kitchen floor cleanup after kids drop something.

    Do a review on the purple pillow if you haven't done it already. That's my favorite pillow.

    The waffle maker seems like a cool concept until you realize how poorly it was made. The moulds should have had a fill line, and snapped securely together.

    I bought the butter mill, the sticks of butter from Costco are too wide (about ¼ inch) to fit in it. I don't know if there are different size sticks of butter. It works pretty well, but I put plastic wrap around the plunger, it was not a tight fit.

    Re: Ninja Creami - the recipe, not the gadget is responsible for the taste. But it seemed to make ok ice cream. That kitchen slicer looks safer than some and I'm going to che3ck it out. I have a mondoline, but its one of those where it's pretty easy to cut yourself if not extremely careful. I really like your reviews. Your presentations are no nonsense and honest.

    Pva mop, worst thing ever. It was awkward and hard to manage. It was almost impossible to get it wet in one piece. It was too large for a regular bucket. It seems like it would be great but for people with strength and movement issues, it actually became quite difficult. I threw it away after the first failed use.

    Those laces would not stand up to a sticky drag racing track. Ask me how I know. FYI Crocks are not got for a sticky tack nor are flip flops.

    Only just occurring to me, the butter mill would be annoying to use if you live in a country where butter comes in larger blocks than that. You'd have to cut it down to size.

      This was my first time seeing any kind of review for Ninja Creami. I was thinking of getting one when I saw in store and/or in tv commercial (not any review). I’ll have to agree, it is quite loud. Despite noise, I would t mind getting it just for times when I’ve got the urge for certain flavors and can’t find in my local stores.

    I always laugh when I see golden egg products.
    many years ago NightHawkinLight showed a way to scramble eggs inside their shells. what he did was put the egg in a sweaters arm sleeve and tie both ends and then spin very very fast.

    The waffle toaster probably hurts every Belgian eye.... But you almost every time forget (and you are not alone) that waffle batter expands/rises when you bake it (some more then other)

    I wish you'd tell us what you use for shaving and treating your head. Many of us that are new to the total bald life might like to know. Unless of course you just have it professionally done. Us average schmoes probably can't afford that.
