    Fella I thank you with all my heart, I’ve been messing around all day, you showed me more in that short tutorial than I’ve learned watching hours of other posts, thanks again, Sam 👍

      Well I've done quite a lot of these used to work for a sprinter specialised place and that is what works for me. I'm not 100% sure but i think that's how they are out of factory.

      @M Atanasov ok. I got bang every time after gear change once clutch pedal released and same in reverse once clutch pedal released to drive it's 2014 2.1 cdi long wheel base van. I been advised to check axle shafts, took out left side one and splines on differential side has only slight wear but yet to take out right side one. Left side shaft not had any movement from wheel bearing side and left side hub seems newer than right side hub so could be already changed. While I was taking of left brake disc I needed to hammer ir off as shoe pads had worn a deep groove in the drum. Once put back together which I was struggling to and hand break isn't even adjusted for now it's touching the drum and shoes doesn't stayed stright it leaned in so it's slightly touching drums now and making noise. Anyway I already ordered new set shoes, discs n break pads.
      From your experience did you ever seen shaft splines wearing from diff side???
      Many thanks!!!

      Nope i haven't usually they wear out the the hub splines because it's made of softer material. I'll do a video today on your question because it's a really good topic that i haven't addressed yet.

      @J J ua-cam.com/video/GqJY96snghw/v-deo.html Also i do think your issue will be a U joint.

      @M Atanasov hiya mate. Universal joints not got any play in it unless it's sticky and to confirm that best to take of prop shaft and check for movement. Anyway yesterday I removed right rear axle shaft and took of hub too, almost no splines in hub bearing, shaft outside/hub side splines a bit damaged too, probably best to buy both instead just getting a bearing. I got few pictures I would like to share but seems I can't upload it here. It was nasty inside too, loads of shavings and rusty mush.
