Alright, I'm going to try to break this down. The grid is 17 x 15, making 255 squares in all. This means that the chance of an apple spawning in front of you is, of course, 1/255. Now, take that same chance and multiply that again for all 252 squares you go over (let's not count the squares the snake spawns in. Getting a 1/255 chance exactly 252 times in a row? I don't know how to do the math but im guessing it goes: 1/255 x 252 = 0.988235294% chance of that happening without cheats. You're probably better off buying a lottery ticket.
