Why can't the actor do his or her own breathing?
because it would be too easy and the making of movies should not be easy LOL
With different films it has to be different. If it’s a wide shot microphones can’t get close to the actor so sound effects have to be put in
No that is not the case. Even if they do make the breathing sounds themselves sometimes they fail to being about that much of an effect. To bring a more enthralling effect to the sound they have an external sound to help enhance the the entire thing. Even when somebody is walking on gravel, the sounds are not picked up properly so they have external sounds to enhance the entire thing.
Because it's clearly an indi film. The actress probably couldn't come back to do it in post and they probably ruined the sound on set

I have a question I have a video clip of a mechanical moving wheel And I want to add mechanical parts but not he Wheel is going way to fast is my daws I use Are Reaper and Logic so loading in video clip in my daw and try to get the timing sometimes I get it then other times just to fast any tip or techniques then I might be able to do to make this more manageable ?
I thought about slowing down the video on just that part where I need to edited and speed the video back to its original speed but I’ve been told that they can’t be done in those daws

But how to record this sounds? Like, i want a walking sound, i walk with a phone recording a video, and then i hear nothing on the video, i don't like breaking my spine trying to hand my phone as close to my feet as i can... Especially when i can't even bend
Maybe you could try recording yourself marching on the spot to mimic footsteps and then record the sound of the outdoor environment you want as your ambient sound . Then put them into some sound editing software and you might get the sound you want. Let us know how it goes if you try it :)

You could just use a clock to imitate the ticking of a clock but sure use scissors, cause that makes total sense
Of course, just put the recorder next to a clock and elevate the volume -_-
if they do that than its unoriginal and not creative, and they will be punished for it.
There will be problem with quality and you cant control the outcome.. usually foley also sync with video.

Using scissors for a clock sound? Stupid me, I've been using a clock for the ticking sound.
I looked at the scissors and waited. I waited until I decided that I had to tap the screen. The second i tapped the scissors he picked them up. I thought there was an interactive thing lol
