I literally searched "how to get unstuck making loops" lol I get a good loop and then run face first into a wall. But only when I'm actually on Logic. If I'm listening to music for inspiration I can plan out everything I want to do in my own work, until I sit down to put anything together
It's incredible how simple you make automation look and feel as you teach... makes me realize I've been definitely underutilizing that in my tracks. Thanks Alex!
I don't make dance music but i do make instrumental music and arrangement has always been the number one thing holding me back - this is by far the most clear and useful tutorial on arrangement ive seen. Thank you so much, and love the passion! Just subscribed.
Alex, you're such a gem of a guy, my man. I love your videos, and how you stop sometimes just to show us how excited you get while writing. It always makes me smile, & get pumped along with you. Thank you for your art and your lessons brother. Wishing you so much continued success. 🙏🏼
Best tutorial I've seen so far this is so incredibly helpful for complete beginners in music production like me!! Thank you. Other youtubers I see are not getting as in depth and its often more for advanced creators so this is helpful.
I’m trying to start a track today so I really appreciate this 🎉 of course I’ve watched tons of videos on this topic but a refreshing video on a good topic is a good motivation on get started today!
Mann this is what I was looking for I could not find anyone to actually show how to extend the music I’m glad I’m motivated to try this tonight on Logic Pro Definitely subscribed 🤟🏽
I always learn something new from your videos, and I've got to say, whenever I go apply it to my music, I react similar to how you do to yours. I watch you half for your knowledge and half for how much you enjoy crafting good-sounding music. Keep it up!
one of the only guys on YT i actually learn from. also glad you're using ableton now. would love an in depth video on bass, from creating/selecting the right sounds to processing and glueing it in with rest of track. that's where i'm getting stuck rn. thanks!
You make great videos my guy. Whenever I see you made something new, I tune in just because the way you are (on cam) is so comforting. :) May the algorythm god be gracious to thee!
after opening this video in new tab, then i just go back to my DAW without even watching this it works guys 🤣 actually do something (anything) to your loop works better than listening to it over and over
awesome video! I love how you have a clear overwiew about this! thats a newfound clarity of arranging for me, also thats a solid track you wrote right there =)
Very useful tips! For me personally it's after this part I get stuck with 99% of my songs. How to keep the track interesting enough the whole time. Which methods / elements, melody variation to add an interesting twist to surprise the listener etc.. Very nice track so far!
Always appreciate the videos. Do you by chance have a video on building a bit complex drum patterns ? I feel I struggle with percussion and the building blocks of what makes a good solid beat. Thanks again!
Not Alex, but I recommend watching videos of drummers and drum covers to see how drummers add flavor and feel. They’ve already figured it out for us, go steal their shit
I have a question with those four elements How do I know what to start first and what comes second and what comes third is there a list structure I can follow ????????
How do you step up your production arranging a track by using different elements from the drop? As in songs that use completely different sounds from the build and the drop?
What music program do you use? Also, I don’t own many instruments. Is there a program that ,any have many instruments, especially drums? Thank you so much
When ordering stuff in your shop is it normal to reive nothing but a receipt and not beeing delievered for hours nor getting answers on support requests?
Hey Alex, I'm Philly based , working on something I think could be really special. I'm trying to get in touch with you. How do I get in touch with you?
Amazing motivation. Like, if u dont finish 90% of your songs.
I'm Not An Expert But I've Made 2 Beats Out Of Loop And Made It Into A Song Using My Phone.

The love you have for music is contagious. Thank you for sharing that passion with the world Alex!
Absolutely!!!! Whenever he says that it bounces or slaps or whenever he gestures with his hands, you can just *FEEL* his passion!!
That transition into the drop was smooth
You’re a great teacher as well as producer, your passion and teaching style is next level dude
I love how this dude gets to the point.
It's incredible how simple you make automation look and feel as you teach... makes me realize I've been definitely underutilizing that in my tracks. Thanks Alex!

Definitely subscribed 🤟🏽
I got distracted part way through, lost my place so started again - worth it
Wow, this is amazing to see every session from you related to production, pls make another video on balancing instruments or mixing.
Slightly weird look, enthusiastic, emotional about the thing he does and that is how to tell that you found a good blogger to binge watch.
I always learn something new from your videos, and I've got to say, whenever I go apply it to my music, I react similar to how you do to yours. I watch you half for your knowledge and half for how much you enjoy crafting good-sounding music. Keep it up!
Never thought about dropping a vocal sample into Pigments to make a drone... that is really cool! Thanks Alex
Dope pro producer. Massive huge saucepans.

Literally insane I love it
Nice work man your passion shows. I like what you did with your arrangement choices they sound good like they just sit right.
after opening this video in new tab, then i just go back to my DAW without even watching this
it works guys 🤣
actually do something (anything) to your loop works better than listening to it over and over
I actually really liked the way you've done the drums here. Could you do a breakdown video on them?
That was very helpful. One has to first create the tools and then bring them all together.
Alex you are the best
There's two people on whole youtube who get most of EDM fundamental tutorials right One is Alex Rome and other is Big Z
You rock ! Very good instructive and funny teacher ! Love the dancing .
Don't have this particular program but this was truly helpful regardless. Thank you so much from all of us out here!! Absolutely awesome video my man!
