Sprint Training Episode 3 - Training Through Injury?

  • In the days leading up to this episode I was doing a lot of complex jumping and plyometric exercises on hard ground. This lead to me experiencing a shin injury that is holding me back from running as fast as I can. With this injury I decided to take a little time off so It can heal. The problem is this injury occurred at the worst possible time right as I was preparing to run unattached in upcoming track meets. Because of the fact I refuse to sit still I will continue to train my muscles and my brain as closely as I can to sprinting without putting too much impact on the ground. Should I be training through injury? will I overcome this injury soon enough to compete the rest of this seasons? tune in to find out.
