I can't believe only watched him 6 months b4 death... but he hit me hard and actually cried when I heard he was no longer with us.. wish there were more like him.
I never met this priest but as the oldest boy in my family, a former Marine, and a soldier of Jesus Christ... I need priests like this ... not wimps. I never had the gift of hearing this beautiful priest in person. I live in York Maine and was looking thru my post one day on UA-cam and watched one of his sermons.I started crying towards the end of it ..I had never heard a priest preach with so much conviction and heart. What a gift .. it was then I read further on that he had been killed suddenly the day before in a car accident. I felt such a loss.. I have since tried to watch a sermon from home every day ( thank you for posting them)I have also forwarded them To many others who have been greatly touched by this holy man... even after his death. I pray for the Parish he left behind ,all those that are without him now.The world needs priest like this in these dark times God is good .. and Father Beard lives on even in death .. bringing us all closer to God .
