Hey Guys, I built up my Atem setting following your great ideas. I improved the setting a little bit by adding 2 BM bidirectional converters for having the choice on ports 3+4 for using sdi or hdmi Input. I also added an additional hdmi output via bm converter for having both: hdmi and sdi output at the same time. Your covers make the whole thing look very professional. I have the Pelistorm M2600 and the Nanuk 920 which were designed around the Atem Mini only. Is there a way I can visit you please as I’d like to remodify my cases for both the Mini Extreme ISO and Mini Pro respectively. I love the panels you’ve used as opposed to the acrylic panels I had made prior. I live in Buckinghamshire and prepared to travel to meet you. Please let me know.

I just received my kit with almost everything I need. I believe I'm just missing the cables that connect the LED power button switch and the DC barrel plugs; and the USB charging option. Once I get the proper wires for all these, are there video directions that show me step by step how to put these together? Thanks.
Is everything you need included on your list? I can't see anything for ethernet and do we need multiple HDMI cable extentions or just add the links to the Amazon basket?? Chris

Hi. Mr. Bloke, I liked your video about ATEM Mini in Orange case. I have purchased the same case and want to manage my Roland V1-HD switcher. I am wondering if you could make a case panel deck kit for Roland V-1HD. I don’t want to cut any holes in the case and instead I would like to have all the access from inside and just want to keep the case waterproof. Since the Roland V-1HD has 6 HDMI ports, four for input, one for multi display and one for output or recorder. It has two audio RCA jacks one for input and one for output and two ports on the right side for mic and phones. So, in case the heat builds up inside the deck, in order to deal with heat, I would like to have two small fans on the same deck panel, power input also on the case panel.
Fantastic. Personally I’d preferred to have the ‘power and connections ‘ in the space above the ATEM mini. That way the case will remain intact and waterproof.
I know what you mean. I have done some custom builds cos that's what was wanted and they've all said the same thing. All those connectors and cables in front of the ATEM and monitor are a cluttered mess and in the way. It's so much tidier when they're at the back. Thanks for the feedback. I plan to use a 12 port keystone plate to use the keystone type jacks and hdmi connectors keeping the case airtight and water proof. Can you lawyer cut the 12 port keystone plate hole on top of the stem mini pro so, I could install the keystone plate? I can send you the picture of the keystone plate with measurements so it could be helpful for you to cut the installation hole. I would like to buy the deck kit only for inside the case. Please advise.
You have a couple of options depending on the monitor you choose. The cheapest option is to loop through the monitor HDMI in and and HDMI out if the monitor supports it - most do. Alternatively, you can use an HDMI splitter in the case. I've used these before amzn.to/3ESDbZi but there are loads of alternatives on Amazon. I suggest trying the monitor loop through first and see how it goes.
So talking with Blackmagic support I've found this to be a bit disturbing. Whenever the media is removed from the ATEM Mini xxx the drive is still mounted. Meaning the data could possibly become corrupt or even damage the drive. I haven't used the unit long enough to determine that this could be a problem but I'm sure it would be. I've only been in the computer business for 30 years but I do see this as a problem.

The Nanuk case lid is quite different from the MAX case will need standoffs and the 3D print modifying. If you can provide me with a DXF of the design I can cut it for you, but I'm sure you must have a laser cutting service closer to you than I am.

Suggestion: Add two Combo XLR's to the top of the plate that the Atem sits in, and link that to the mini jack inputs on the back. This way you can accept XLR or 1/4 Jack if needed.
Good idea and I had a customer version that has additional sockets in the front panel for SDI and USB and it does work great. But as soon as you have plugs and sockets in the top panel the cables get in the way of the monitor and it ends up messy. Having all the sockets on the rear panel keeps the cables and connectors out of the way.

Nice idea, but it's not really possible unless I have access to all the hardware.

The ATEM Pro Mini ISO doesn't have SDI so it would need HDMI to SDI convertors adding. Contact sales@xcopters.co.uk to get a quote.
