    Not just for UA-camrs, but for remote teachers this is a solution in a box for a flip up and get things done setup. And the possibilities are endless, one can fully customize that pelican case to their particular needs, the one you showed is just the inspiration the blueprint, although such studio in a box isn't a solution for everyone, for the right demographic this can be game changing.
    Great work 😎👍

  • @Herfinnur
    @Herfinnur 3 роки тому

    Next up on DSLR Video Shooter: An Entire Production Facilityt in One Altoid Tin! ...or something 😋 I love your videos; I've especially had so many great solutions come to me from watching and rewatching the long unlisted one that accompanies your shorter video on the wireless audio kit, and applying the principles from that.
    It would be cool to mount a second camera to have a "plug 'n' play" two camera interview setup, and make some sort of stiff, foldable board, maybe aluminium or plexiglass, for rain protection to mount to the lid and sides. But what I'm really thinking is that this is a great starting point for my dream "music and video production studio in a carry-on suitcase" project, but one of the disappointments has been how hard-shell suitcases are conceived for clothes, not hardware: a lot of space is wasted on rounded sides and edges and the sleeve for the telescopic handle, and because the lid is always half the size and weight of the suitcase, you can't mount anything heavy to it. It will flip backwards even if you add straps to keep the lid at a 90° angle unless you keep all the rest of your stuff in the suitcase at all times. This case makes more sense

    Great build! I would consider placing an ATEM Mini Pro ISO in the bottom as well. Then if you're traveling with a laptop, secondardy camera(s), etc, you could also modulate the setup to be a multicam somewhat easily. The harder part would probably be the monitor at that point, as there would be multiple views to switch between.

    I BUILT THIS!! Just had to come by and say THANK YOU for this video. I'm a solo creator who struggled filming/recording content at conferences and when I got tired of using two iPhones and cheap lapel mics, I found this video, bookmarked it, and then started saving up for the equipment. I built a very similar kit over the Christmas break and got a chance to finally try it out at a conference. Was able to record so many interviews without having to worry about storage, wifi, or carrying a huge box of supplies around everywhere. Just wanted to say thank you for the inspo and helping to make my life easier!

    I built something like this once in a Pelican back-pack, with a laptop and power bar for 2 cameras. Used it for event photography and it was pretty awesome. Keep in mind the Pelican back-pack does lay-flat in the field - which is nice - but it weight 8 pounds *empty* so you better pump up at the gym if you gonna use it...!!! But yeah data-wranglers and digital imaging techs have been doing this kind of things for years. Really great set-up you have going on here. I could probably slam a GoPro in my backpack and be able to live-stream from the set to the client :D

There's really only so much you can do with Zoom but it can be a little complicated to ship or deliver a case like this and expect someone with no experience to set it up and make it look good. Being able to talk to someone through the camera would also be amazing. What if you built your teleprompter/camera monitor into a case?

    This series is so genius dude! I could totally use a set up like that right now for clients that need to film themselves all of a sudden. Instead of a monitor at the left, I'd make that and the right side an LED panel for two way front lighting, would even add some good catchlight for the eyes. I would attach and hdmi capture device, with a usb-c cable out so they can just plop down their laptop and directly livestream, or record on the laptop using OBS or Quicktime. Yah know what, that could be a great video idea. A high quality zoom set up you can take anywhere, that would be very valuable for news casters who now broadcast from their homes, and lots of executives and influencers who need some shallow DOF in their zoom or livestream sessions.
