I saw this in the theater in 1978. The audience was quiet until the scene where Elliot Gould in the plane is waving for James Brolin to come quickly; the audience exploded with yelling & applause! A must have Goldsmith score for any Goldsmith/OST fan & collector!! Thanks Mind!
I remember my Dad took me to see this for my birthday in 1978. After the movie I told him I liked the soundtrack and he bought it for me the next day. There I was 7 years old lying in my bed staring at the ceiling listening to this like I was watching the movie in my head.
Hi but it's also a brilliant film! I always enjoy watching it!
Over 40 years later this score still holds up like most of Goldsmith's work.
Holds up? I'd say it reminds us what film music can be but is no longer.
This movie blew my mind. Still the best conspiracy thriller of all time.
I greatly enjoy 1970ies conspiracy movies. Peter Hyams' Capricorn One ranks among the best and Goldsmith' Score is one of my all time favorites.
Tanks great mister jerry goldsmith and R.I.P
Just recently watched the movie again, partially also because of the soundtrack.
One of the best moies of all time, alongside one of the best soundtracks of all time.
Love Goldsmith's soundtracks and also John Williams and Michel Legrand
Grande Jerry Goldsmith.❤👏🏻
A mio parere, una delle colonne sonore che hanno dato una svolta al genere fantascienza, con complotto!
great jerry music RIP
I listen and i think of james horner, though it is goldsmith. there is certainly some inspiration, so horner took elements from there for star trek and project brainstorm.
Well, Horner wrote the music for the second star trek movie and he "quoted" intentionally the sound trek from the first one written by Goldsmith.
Nevertheless, many composers were inspired by Goldsmith, Horner included. So I agree with you in general.
