I have bought Skoda Rapid Rider 1.0 TSI Turbo. I have bought this car in the month of September by viewing your videos. It's my first own car and it's being a one month of ownership. I have driven this car 900km in one month. And I AM 100% FULLY SATISFIED WITH SKODA RAPID. My Friends also asked me not to go for this car because of high maintenance, but as sir mentioned "you can't judge a chocolate without tasting it". Also, Skoda is offering Skoda maintenance package for 30k for 4 years + they have clearly mentioned the cost of maintenance for each year which is also 29k for 4years on their website. I haven't went for service till yet. There are possibility that Skoda Rapid has parts of Audi and Volkswagen, so it may cost a bit more if parts changed. But if I consider driving experience and compare it with any other car, it's really worth full. but as sir mentioned, if you read user manual, you won't be cheated or pay more for service. I think 10-15K rupees for 15,000 KM a year with remarkable driving experience and safety and also Audi and Volkswagen parts fitted in it and comes under 8.4 lakh onroad price. It's really a practical choice and worthy car then any other car in the segment. Also, thank you sir for making videos. I might have missed this car, if I haven't watched your videos. Please keep going 👍

Is 10-15K service cost to be paid even after taking the Service Package of 30K? As per my understanding if you pay for 30K, a 4 years of no service cost and you only need to pay for usable parts that need change....can you help clear that doubt pls...

1. For me yearly service is 12k
2. Parts wise little expensive when compared with outside mechanics or other vendors but parts OEM and better to go for OEM only
3. My car odometer is 87k

I need to buy SECOND HAND SEDAN. My Budget is 3 to 4 lakh Maximum. I am confused between 2 option 1. Should I go for premium sedan like honda city, verna (2013 to 2015 model with approx 60000 km driven) OR 2. Should go for normal sedan like tigor, amaze, zest etc. Above 2017 model km driven less than 60000. Reason for confusion: - I have bought TATA INDIGO Ecs in 2014 ( model 2010 driven 70000 km) AND faced Various problems in old car even during single small trip causes huge repairs to car and wastage of time and cost both. Preference: NEED THE HASSLE FREE CAR.
Guys please check the dealer. If he is really trustworthy only then put your foot forward.
After doing so much research on which car we should finally buy, we opted for Skoda Rapid style automatic Petrol, and here are we today regretting for the same.
Think twice before you buy.
After sales service from Skoda is pathetic.
From day one there is some or the other problem but no one to rescue.
Dealer gave me fake price quotation, & cheated more than 75000/-
Also not gave us the second key of my car.
Collected 1% TCS i.e. 12000/- as per government norms & didn’t deposited in government till date.
I am feeling completely cheated by Skoda and do not know what to do with my car.
So, request all those who plan to buy Skoda to reconsider their decision and ensure they have adequate reasons to buy.

On road October price is 8.8 lac, my dealer (Modi hyundai, Malad) gave me discount of ₹95000+₹20000 (exchange bonus)+₹60000 for my old car. So I got the version in just ₹705000 . Many dealers are Giving just ₹75k discount so u can demand more on basis of model getting discontinued. Get the most of it. Hope it's helpful!!

My budget is basically 10 to 10.50L on road and my monthly running would be between 500 to 700 kms and a family of 4. would request you suggest a car which would not cost me expensive servicing/parts, decent mileage, good/enjoyable driving experience/performance oriented. Below are my 3 choices but i would request your opinion as per my above mentioned requirement.

Mere saath KUV 100 mein aur bhi bura hua tha. Top end petrol version liya tha. Uske music system mein issue tha day 1 se. Jaise jaise vehicle ki speed badhti thi music system ki volume bhi badhti thi aur jaise hi vehicle slow hoti to music volume bhi. Jab second day morning car Bangalore ke koramangala ke Sireesh Auto ke paas leke gaya the manager says SIR YEH TO GAADI KA FEATURE HAI.
I told that test drive vehicle didn't had it. He bluntly told SIR VOH DIESEL HAI. When I got angry they took out system for replacement which they didn't replaced even after month. Finally I fitted Sony system and took back old music system from them. Mahindra is horrible in terms of customer service. They should only sell tractors.
i have skoda superb 2016 model and i dont service it in showroom because i am done with my warrantty..so no use in spending 20k for servicing but when i service the car in local garage i am satisfied than skoda dealership.. my service is done in 7k.. and the way local dealer washes the car you wont get the same care from skoda... so just dont believe in people jo skoda mai baithe taak nahi hai

Please don't recommend Venue 'S' variant to anyone. Venue should only be bought in SX and higher trims. There is a huge difference in the diameter of tyres of S and SX variant. S variant looks really bad (due to its very less ground clearance). See for yourself... Don't know why Hyundai did this..

Hiii..sir , can you clarify my one doubt - Many luxurious car claiming many safety features, but few months back we noticed jaguar XF (cost arround 57 lakhs) , bmw & audi like cars suddenly met accidents in odisha. persons inside the car were died . those cars are offering ABS ,LASER head up display, ACC facility, air bag and many more safety features etc.
and now public wanted to know that, why all the safety features doesn't work during accident.

Mujhe petrol automatic car leni hai jo chalane me awesome ho. It should be super safe with good looks. Planning to go for Polo GT TSi. Ab usme DSG nahi h jiski wajah se imported parts kam h, mileage achcha h, still chalane me kaafi achhi h. Test drive to Ecosport Titanium automatic ki bhi li thi but usme turbo nahi h to chalane me Polo jitna maza nahi aya aur mileage bhi kam h. Polo GT 10.5 lac me on road mil rahi h so should I go for it or is there any other car that you would suggest. Aur ha venue DCT try kari thi but bakwas lagi aur driver seat space bhi kam laga. Polo me atleast aage space kam nahi h. I wish Ecosport Diesel automatic me aati to maza a jata and I would have pushed my budget.

Only good after sale service can not convert into high sales figures.take exaple of Toyota. Tata may have bad service centres,so does maruti who charges 10000 for regular service of diesel swift at almost every service centre . Who is bad, depends upon many factors.

Ek sawaal .... Do an interview with a TATA service centre person. Ask why instead of so many complaints TATA as a Company is doing nothing to fix its after sales service. Ask what difficulties does the service centre face while dealing with the Company. Ask what is the business model of TATA. All Tata car buyers claim they are nationalists. Does that mean Tata service centre guys are anti nationals? Are all other brand buyers anti nationals ? Other brands have invested and created jobs for people in India. See the economy of Haryana because of Maruti. Inspite of so many negative videos of Maruti and so many positive videos of TATA, sales figures of TATA tell a different story. Tata has an image of a truck maker for the lower classes and their history of poor cars doesn't help their sales.

Skoda rapid rider is a 1 litre 3 cyl engine. It is a turbo also. 3 cylinders give good mileage plus the fun of turbo. They also come with ₹ 30000 four year maintenance package. Now for any car one must research frequency of wear and tear of parts and cost of replacement. There is where the difference lies. A 3 cylinder car will feel more vibrations than a four cylinder one. Skoda is a cheap Audi is what I learned.
