Very impressive work. It looks as if the sleeve was 20-30 mm too large to clear the cross slide - can you swing a 1000 mm diameter part over the slide? The boring bar looked like it was sticking out about 2 meters. Did you have chatter that affected the surface finish?

It rotates up to 1010 diameter on the car and 1350 on the sled, there was vibration when taking the very end of the part, but in the last passes, there was no vibration with the thin shavings and I bedded the part and took the inside.
