Self hate is real. Tiwa has always hated herself and I guess she thought getting married was going to solve it. Even with a loving husband, she turned back to her old self sabotaging self hating self. A baby isn’t going to change it, marriage isn’t going to change her views of herself. I am aware this is a show but art imitates life and there are women like Tiwa in real life.

I’m a woman who experienced many miscarries and I never once directed my anger at my husband who was ever so supportive. She is really annoying me. Despite what the doctors said that I could not carry full term and I had conditioned my mind and focus on positives bringing the baby in existence buying baby clothes sowing it out and reading my favourite book supernatural childbirth. I have sowed so many of those books to Christians and non Christians and God has blessed them. I am a mother of two now. The anger is too much here. I was her size...

People have different ways they grieve but that doesn't make it correct. She would laugh with her friend, go to work but come back to the one person who also is grieving and be hard to him, that's not right and let's not blame it in the loss. That's our point. As a recent husband, I have come to realize it is okay not to be in control of some situations, sometimes all you need do is step back and just let go.. you cannot fix everything. this might sound harmful to try, but it is more harmful when you get rejected, you start to think a lot and make harmful assumptions like "why is she so insensitive to my feelings" "i dont think she loves me enough to confide in me" "she is taking this thing too seriously" "why wont she let me help her" etc. In other to avoid all these, just let go of your control instincts and let her heal in her time. don't push. trust me, she is aware of exactly how you are feeling. when the time is right she would let you in. patience and care is key here. just show up when she needs you, cuz trust me she would, and when she does don't bring up how she made you feel. she knows.

I know people have been passing comments about Tiwa saying, oh she is doing too much attitude. Do you all remember that Tiwa has always been bullied for her weight? First her mom, then her former colleague at work, then her husband's sister and please add Shalewa to the mix as well. Trying hard to not allow their words to affect her, she has a glimpse of a life that she deserves, then she loses a baby and all of a sudden all the words and the taunting come back in full force in her head. Before she bites Mide's head off, can you see her berate herself in the mirror over and again and being vocal to the doctor about it without receiving the help she is crying for? She has never lost a child before. A relationship yes. A job, yes but a baby? No. Let us watch this story unfold. I am loving the role Tiwa is playing because truthfully, a lot of women go through postpartum depression and don't even know that is what is wrong with them. Mide is still angry oh, he is just trying to be there for his wife. Wait until his bubble bursts and then we will have more lessons to learn. As for Shalewa with the rebound. you can never win a fight by playing dirty. She needs to be careful about the type of friends she associates with. Sometimes, when we are given a new lease of life, we really need to keep making the right decision and let go completely of old friends who won't and cannot fit into the new life. Nothing good comes from a one night stand. I hope sha for their sake, they used protection.

First of all, Mide lost his dad, it wasn’t Tiwa’s dad. That was Mide’s grief. Tiwa couldn’t have felt his dad’s loss like he did. So the comparison is wrong. The child was her’s and Mide’s. Not just hers. I understand postpartum depression for mothers but let’s stop acting like the fathers do not also feel pain. Mide did everything he could to help Tiwa through that pregnancy. He didn’t neglect her. So I’m not even mad at him. Tiwa didn’t also set out to lose her child so it’s not her fault either. This idea of acting like it’s just women who go through the pain is wrong. Mide has prepared too for that child, just like Tiwa. So let’s be fair to him. Since this happened, all he’s been is supportive. Please give him some credit. If it were Mide that lost a pregnancy, I know how Tiwa would have reacted. She couldn’t even stand it when he was mourning his dad.

This is my 3rd time watching this; getting geared up for season 7. And for the first time this hit me: it’s interesting how Tiwa switched from yelling at Mide to dismissing Didi’s concerns about her to advising Didi. The irony of it all was Didi hyping her “marriage counselor, relationship expert, life coach “ when at that particular time her life was a mess and everything was upside down literally. Most of us are always forming hard guys when our lives are practically falling apart; always trying to be the strong friend and not allowing people who actually care about us to be strong for us when we need them. Sad!

Miscarriage! One of the worst temptation a lot of women face, I remember when I had two miscarriages in 2018 back to back and all I did was blame myself just as Tiwa is blaming herself . Ladies! never blame yourself when you have a miscarriage, baby that will stay will stay no matter how busy you are.

Please, I will not tolerate this Tiwa slander. I’ve personally never grieved anything but some bad grades and getting rejected from nursing school the first time I applied lol but people grieve differently. The fact that Didi said “ I know I haven’t asked you about how you’re coping” or something to that effect was really important because i think it shows the difference in Didi’s and Mide’s approaches and Tiwa’s responses. I also feel that in situations like this people are most likely to push away from the people they love the most, the people who remind them of the traumatic experience, and/or the people who try “too hard” to get them to talk about their feelings. I think Mide fits all three and they need to go back to that counselor EXPEDITIOUSLY and with IMMEDIATE alacrity.

Kemkay akuké I find it interesting that Mide picked up on the clue that showed Tiwa’s mental instability but the doctor failed to. Tiwa stated she felt she might do something drastic, that statement should have made the doctor realize that, they have come to a place where he is no longer the best professional to handle the situation. He should have done what did but at the end offer counseling options for the both of them because lets not discount the fact that Mide is also grieving.
