liberals need to play a massive role when it comes to the conversation about Islam. It's just that I think the role they are playing now is counterproductive, at best. At worst, it is actively making things worse. It's making progress in this religious communities more difficult and adding onto these harms that people in the Muslim world already go through. What I hope is that they can start viewing Islam in the way they view hinduism. I've found Islam is treated as a race more than a religion and Muslims are treated as a racial group.

India is a country where a number of religions originated- Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism - and some religions came from abroad-Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Zoroastrianism. Many natives got converted to Islam and Christianity, which is natural, if your own religion doesn't provide you the equality why would you like to be its part. When today's enlightened world is doubting the existence of God itself, many of us are talking about civilization questions like the thoughts of Nazi regime. It seems many of us are going backwards.

Without Truth & Reconciliation .. there is no peace. Just imagine if our constitution makers had put the issue of 'caste discrimination' under the carpet. Similarly, this truth needs to be told very loudly as well. I firmly believe that if we were taught right history from the beginning in 1947, our Muslim brothers & sisters themselves would have realized this gross injustice done in the name of their religion & happily handed these temples back to us.
Now they too are constantly confused as to if they are at the receiving hand of injustice.
I also blame Congress & other secular leadership who while had rightly put many efforts in reforming Hindu society & helping Hindu women to march together with men in modern times but didn't try to help our muslim brothers & sisters in reforming & educating their community .. as it was easy to pamper a few Maulvis who would fetch them all the votes without doing an iota of work for their community. This damaged our Muslims citizens' progress & made them defensive all the time.

i would like to give some basic understanding of Sunni and Shia for the patriotic Indians.
Basically Sunnis are 75-80% of all Muslims and Shias are 15-20%.
The basic thing you know is that Both of them follow Prophet Mohammad & after his death there was a despute between Ali & Abu Bakr. People who are called Sunnis or Ahlus Sunnah are Followers of Abu Bakr ,Umar & Usman & his relatives such as Muawiya & Abu Bakr's daughter Ayesha and Shias are Followers of Fatima the Daughter of Prophet Mohammad and Ali her Husband and their children Hasan and Hussain collectively they are called Ahlulbait or House of Prophet or Prophet's Bloodline Note ( Some Sunnis say they respect Ahlulbait but they also respect people who faught against Ahlulbait like Abu Bakr who took away and snatched Fadak from Fatima with help of Umar and they also respect Abu Bakr daughter Ayesha and who faught against Ali in Jang E Jamal ( Battle of Camel - Basically in this war Prophet Mohammad's wife Ayesha launched war against prophet Mohammad's son in Law Hazart Ali ) and they also revere Muawiya who faught Jang E Siffin ( Battle of Siffin ) against Ali. So people get confused about Sunnis and Shias. From outside it looks that Sunnis and Shias are same they all have same beliefs and practices but it's not. Basically Shias revere Ali, Fatima, Hasan ,Hussain ( Mind you that Ali is the Son in Law of Prophet Mohammad and Fatima is the daughter of Prophet Mohammad and Hasan and Hussain are son of Ali and Fatima and while sunnis revere Abu Bakr, Umar ,Usman and Ayesha ( Note Here : Ayesha is that so Called 6 year old child that Prophet Mohammad Married and Abu Bakr is the Father of Ayesha. Shias say it's a lie and she was a divorced women just like other wives and also Ayesha used to Breastfeed people so she can't 6 year or 9 years and Shias say Sunnis want to hide the fact she used to fight War and she wanted to kill Ali. So i think Shias are right here ).
Now These 2 groups faught against eachother and hated eachother and most of the time Abu Bakr ,Umar & Usman & their followers had power and authority hence the upper hand so they killed Ali and his son's along with his followers mercilessly ( Note : On Moharram Imam Hussain the son of Ali and Fatima and Grandson of Prophet Mohammad was killed mercilessly by the Yazeed the Son of Muawiya and Followers of Abu Bakr and Umar and Usman ). You must have heard Sunni Shia fights during Moharram in accross different cities in india and other places. Sunnis absolutely hate Ali his son Hussain and Ahlulbait. They absolutely loose their mind whenever Shias mourn Imam Hussain or whenever Shias mention that Muawiya who appointed his son Yazeed as his Successor killed the Grandson of Prophet Mohammad (Hussain ).
There are few sunnis too who claim to respect Ahlulbait too they are called Sufis but they respect them in such a way that they don't curse them or say bad things about them in open but it can change anytime because Ayesha faught against Ali in public they don't say openly bad things about Ali but they hate it when someone Praise Ali infront of Sunnis or when of course someone says bad things about Ayesha because she faught against Ali. Both Sunnis and Shias hate eachother and also both of them hate eachother's Personalities. Sunnis hate Fatima Ali,Hasan,Hussain while Shias hate Abu Bakr,Umar,Usman and Ayesha.
On the outside they seem to claim to respect eachother but there are many examples of Sunnis praising killers of Ahlulbait and calling Ahlulbait as wrong and false and Shias meanwhile too praise the killers of Umar and they curse the enemies of Ahlulbait who happens to be Sunni Personalities such as Abu Bakr,Umar and Usman and Ayesha as a revenge.
So it's a loop of infighting and there are countless murders and Massacres since 1400 years. Most of the time it's been Followers of Abu Bakr and Umar,Usman and Ayesha who killed and slaughtered the Followers of Ali, Fatima ,Hasan and Hussain and hence Shias have become minority in most countries with Sunnis Killing ,Looting and Slaughtering Shias while few sunnis were killed in revenge in Shia countries such as iran iraq where the Shias are majority. But Shias have been reduced very much from rest of world by Sunnis killings them just like Hindus were eliminated from Afganistan, Pakistan & Bangladesh and now Hindus survive safely only in just India. Similarly Shias survived in just Shia ruled countries. Currently Pakistan and Afghanistan both of them Sunni Country who are Killing Hindu,Sikhs,Ahmadis, Christians and Shias everyday. Every day there's something on news about a Hindu temple destroyed or a Christian girl abducted or a Ahmadis shot dead or a Shia killed in Moharram and Julus because they don't like Shias mourning of Hussain ( as i mentioned above Sunnis hate Hussain and also because he is revered by the Shia).
Pakistan sponsors Terrorism against India in Kashmir through the Sunnis who live in India through them it's Killing Hindu Pandits and sponsoring the Terrorism from Kerala to Kashmir and Indian Sunnis helped Pakistan in expelling the Hindus from their homes from Kashmir Valley and every day Sunni Terrorists kill someone in Kashmir. The thing that's important for Indians whenever you're looking at Sunni&Shias is that who is attacking India and carrying out the killings in India and who has killed millions and millions of Indians mostly Hindus,Sikhs throughout the 700 years of occupation of Bharat. The answer is Sunnis.
Few examples of Sunni Terrorist are Osama Bin Laden, Hafiz Saeed,Al Zawahiri ,Masud Azhar, Mohammad Bin Salman,Abu Bakr al Baghdadi and many more.
While Terrorist organisation such as Hizbul Mujahideen, Ahle Hadees, Wahhabi , Salafi ,Boko Haram, Laskar e Toeba, Jaysh e Mohammad, Taliban ,SIMI, Tablighi Jamaat, Taliban,Deobandis, Barelvis,Al Qaeda, Al Shabab,Nakshbandis, Indian Mujahideen, AlNusra, ISIS or IS ( Islamic State ) all of them are Sunni.
While there are Shia Armed groups too and they are called Terrorist too such as Hezbollah but it's mostly called Terrorist by Sunnis and Pro Sunni Countries such America & it's allies but most of the world don't call them Terrorist.
Infact the government of Russia,China, Iran and Syria, Iraq Support them against the Americans.
If one looks at the media and especially the western media you will notice one very alarming pattern that there's almost never any mention of Sunnis whenever there's any Terrorism even the most horrific attacks such as 911 till now American Government haven't released report & findings about that. Sunnis killed 3000 Americans in day light & Americans didn't even dare to take their name. Another thing you will notice that there's almost dozens of articles from New York Times and BBC about Hindu Terrorism & how the Brahmans are killings Dalits and even if there's a small despute in villages between a Rajpoot and Dalit it's shown as a big event and a major worldwide national crisis. And we Indians fall into that. Meanwhile a Sunni will Slaughter thousands of Shia just because sunni doesn't like that Shia don't accept Abu Bakr and Umar but you won't hear even a peep from all those so called liberals and secular's infact most of them help Sunnis against their enemies whether it's the Hindu or Sikh or Christian or Ahmadi or Shia or any other groups. You will never even hear about how Sunnis killed 11 Hazaras in Quetta and how Sunni Pakistani government and it's establishment was calling the relatives of Murdered Shia Hazra civilians who were protesting for a week with their dead bodies in open begging the Sunni government of Pakistan to stop the killings of Shia Civilians.
You will never read these things from the so called liberals and secularist who just know to abuse every indian for either being hindu and being backward minded. These people are playing very big game with common people who don't understand their games infact each and everyone of them is in one way or another has some kind of backdoor arrangements with the Sunnis because it's done deliberately. You should Sense it too after you read my analysis that a BBC will post 10 articles on how Dalits are being killed and tortured by Bhramans and Rajputs but you will never see a single article about How Shia Civilians are being killed by Sunnis all over the world. We Indians need to wake up to these snakes and call them out and not just act like we have been acting. I think our current leadership of India has somewhat come to conclusions about the Propaganda and Media manipulation being carried out by the Sunnis and their paid agents and lobbyists against India. We also need to call out those being fooled by these gangs and so called big Personalities who hide every crimes of Sunnis.
We need to wake up and realise who are our enemies and friends.
Not all muslims are Terrorist it's true but every single Terrorist is 99.99% of the time a sunni and a Follower of Abu Bakr and Umar.
We should reach out to other Muslim and help then against the Sunnis because India is not against Muslims but it's against the religion and the people who inspire Terrorism such as Abu Bakr & Umar.
I know i have written this too long but being a political science student it's normal for me.
I think now people must have a basic understanding of Sunni and Shia difference.
And the history of sunnis and shias.
So i request all the Indians not to call every muslim as Terrorist because there are some Muslims that are not Terrorist and are truly good people. Such as Ahmadis,Bohras and Shias. We must not hurt them or blame them for the actions of Terrorism & killings of Hindus or any Indians by the hands of Sunnis.

And as for Fact Finding, it was established by the ASI that there existed a structure below the Babri Masjid. But that structure can't be definitively identified as a Mandir. The Structure was built in 12th Century and broken within 60 years of building it. Babur came 400 years later. But those fact didn't change anything. Did they?

Firstly you need to probe the tenets of Islam and the character of Muhammad. Islam is an intolerant supremacist religion that cannot get along with any other religion. Islam is a proselytising religion which was spread through coercion and the sword. Islam is a fake religion and the Quran is a falsely claimed Book of God and Muhammad is a fake prophet who fabricated verses to suit his own political and sexual ambitions. 1. Declare Aurangzeb an Islamic Terrorist and pass a resolution to condemn all his orders and acts.
2. Publish an official booklet documenting the atrocities of Aurangzeb, accessible to everyone free of cost.
3. Declare 51 Shakti peeths, 12 jyotirlingas, and 108 Vishnu teerthas as National Heritage. Severe punishment to anyone who disturbs is sanctity.
4. Once above done, bring amendment to places of worship act to include any of the point 3 places under exceptions.
5. Establish archeological evidences and build the temples though judicial process.

A court order will have limitations in limiting the aspirations of the devotees. Its certainly crucial for the devotees to restore the temple to what it was originally. Those who encroached earlier should make way for those to whom the temple belonged to, be it Varanasi or Mathura.
Few things I am absolutely disagreeing with 1) India was called Sone ka Chiriya and it isn't a myth. Plunderers didn't sack delhi so many times because AAP led by Arvind Kejriwal had invited them for some anshan. 2) Attempts to whitewash the past and give the Indian majority religion Hinduism irrelevant have been written wholesale into laws. No other country has such laws that undermine the rights of the majority. Being a democracy doesn't mean you put minorites on the pedestal and cause ruin to the majority. Social justice doesn't equate to extinction of majority or bringing in refugees from other religions and granting them citizenship to boost numbers. 3) Other places of worship are extremely well protected while the most holiest places of worship in Hinduism are completely desecrated in a country where Hindus call themselves home. It is not something that needs validation from other religions. India is the home for Hindusim, it doesn't need any records to prove it. So stop preaching the bugle of secularism and stop whitewashing the Medieval Hindu Genocide. In this country admitting the fact that Hindus were killed itself is communal while other minorities who purport such atrocities work for international condemnation. Hindus are done toeing this line.
My family is from Punjab. My grandfather was killed in the riots during Partition. He was only a shopkeeper and had nothing to do with the violence. Now you can already guess what was the religion of the guy killed him. But who cares, as you liberal elite live in Delhi and know nothing about the harsh realities of India and the ugly truths about our past. Nobody has ever asked for justice about my grandfather. You certainly will never ask about it. It is only when you've suffered the loss of someone due these extremist folks, that you realise the dangers we actually face.

ASI investigation established that there was a structure on which Babri Masid was built. But, It can't be definitively said that the structure was a Mandir. We all know how that went.

It gave me immense pleasure to go through comments of some viewers. The number of people who can bring an analytical angle to the debate through their 360 degree viewpoint , it seems legion. It is not surprising that nearly all them are Hindus. In their ability to look at the issues involved objectively they score way above Shekar Gupta and the like. What is most heartening is that they still come up trumps batting for Hindus. Obviously, Shekar Gupta comes a cropper. He may want to revisit his ‘secular’((sic!) credentials and more importantly his sense of history. What is intriguing about this question? The Mughals were Islamic zealots whose holy duty was to destroy the non Islamic religion and culture of the subjects they ruled. Simple. They also built thousands of other mosques. And to clarify an assumption in your question. It is a myth that Mughals controlled large part of India. They had only indirect control. Continuous Direct control was mostly limited to current Pakistan, J & K, UP, Bihar and Bengal regions
