Christian Watson is a must keep. He totally dictates how a defense game plans. Only a handful of receivers do that

I'd propose 3 years guaranteed around $50mil, with a 2 year extension option at $60.

You're right, heavier on the escalators makes sense for both parties...IF those escalators push his compensation well above Lawrence. This contract max potential value will be above Lawrence. Guarantee it.

PFF just came out with their rankings of expected 2024 starters at Center. Myers was 27th. None of the ones below him have more than 2 career starts in the NFL.

I'd be surprised if Myers was back in 2025. I think they want Monk to take over. However, if Monk doesnt look like he is ready, maybe they give Myers a one year prove it deal in the $5 mil range to come back. But that decision wouldnt come until after 2024.

Like runyan before him, a team will overpay for myers and myers wouldn’t be smart to take a prove it deal like that. They got options at center, Jenkins, Tom, monk, a future draft pick and probably more guys.

If Love makes it to win a Super Bowl in the next few years he's the 3rd best QB in Packers history!! Rodgers never produced in the playoffs besides a cupcake NFC playoff to get the SB win!! If he gets to 2 SB's he is 2nd best ever, win or lose!! Last year should have Favre and Rodgers knowing they're falling in Green Bay history!! That all is if you think Bart Starr right now is #1. You should do a segment on Packers QB rankings, current and potential future if Love pans out. For Love to cremate the Cowboys and then almost beat the NFC champs, that's better than Favre or Rodgers did in their first playoffs!! If they win a Super Bowl THIS year, Gute literally is the best GM EVER!! NFL wide! This team is young and STACKED!!

Certainly, there have been significant changes around the Packers in recent years, but going back to 2016, one of the constants has been the play of Kenny Clark. In 8 years with our team, Kenny Clark has been a consistent performer, he’s a 3-time Pro Bowler (including in 2023) who has started 109 games and has appeared in 123 out of 131 games in that time span. The Packers showed their appreciation to Kenny Clark in 2020, with a 4-year extension that was worth $70 million. Now in the last year of the deal, both Kenny Clark and the Packers are hoping to work out another extension to ensure he stays in Green Bay into his 30’s. Kenny Clark will be an interesting player to watch this season on the field as well as off of it, as the Green Bay Packers make the transition from a 3-4 defensive scheme to a 4-3 lineup under Jeff Hafley. Kenny Clark had spent his entire NFL career as a nose tackle in the 3-4 defense, but moved to defensive end last year and excelled there, with 7.5 sacks on the season. That was a career high. There could be some concern about whether Kenny Clark can make the adjustment to the 4-3 defensive scheme, it’s an entirely new assignment for him. But he said ditching the 3-technique and simply focusing on his size and strength in clogging the line and getting to the quarterback is going to be a good thing. As for getting Kenny Clark signed to a new deal, there’s no doubt that the Green Bay Packers would like to get a deal done as much as Kenny Clark would. And the 2 sides probably have a good sense of what it will take to make a contract extension work. But the looming issue over the Packers right now is that what kind of contract extension the team will give Jordan Love, who is also in the final year of his deal. Brian Gutekunst explained that on Cheesehead TV this week (via CBS Sports) that “it all has to fit. Certainly, Jordan Love’s contract and getting that done and knowing how that is structured and how that sits over the next few years will be informative. Kenny Clark is still playing at a very, very high level. One of our team leaders. They would certainly like to have him around for a number of years.” Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Jordan and Kenny need to talk!! Brady ALWAYS worked with the team, Love could be the greatest Green Bay QB ever if he acts like Brady and help the team he has!!

BTW...that 2025 "salary" you're quoting for Love is a void year. He costs the cap $5.2M...to not be on the roster at all. Also at 1.93%, 10X that would be nearly 20% of the cap at $52M.

What helps the Kenny Clark situation is the 2021 draft sucked. I mean maybe if Stokes lights it up in camp this year, we'll want to throw some money at him (and that's iffy right now), but other than Stokes (IF he turns it around) there's nobody else from that draft year that warrants a big payday. Of course the 2022 draft is the exact opposite and that needs to be planned for.
Also, unless he has an epiphany (which is extremelt unlikely)...bye-bye Josh.
