I personally don't think our Detroit Lions been good enough to have rivals. Yea, we don't like green bay, but we don't like any team in our division. We were always the worst team in the division. I will say its nice that our games our more meaningful now. Its better for everybody.

The new Lions do not have a rival yet. The old Lions biggest rival was the Lions and the Zebras too.

Let's go, it's that time of the year again. I haven't seen any Packers game yet. Last year we kicked each other's butt, this year I have no idea. This game is a coin flip for me.

Like when you are on top , and everyone else is below your level , thank you for the extra confidence ladies. As a 60 year fan, Da Bears are probably the top rivalry but, all four black and blue division members are rivals in historic terms.

Packers fan here who lives 30miles from Detroit. Lions fans are super cool and not annoying at all. It just sucks that the vibe and excitement is real here. They have completely turned into a winning culture.

Hello girls fantastic show, I watched you before and I just think you're excellent. You asked the CBS girl about what she thought about the Lions fans and the Packers fans were rivals, I can tell you for sure that they certainly are. However I always thought that the real rivals were mostly Chicago and Green Bay, and we were just second-class rivals but that's just like the Vikings, we both feel the same thing. And that we both are probably jealous that you guys are always winning all the time and won super bowls, etc. so yes we're rivals but that's just because you've had it and we haven't had it, especially Detroit,. Detroit has sucked for so long that we've kind of forgotten what it's like to have a arrival, and it feels awesome! (For a change). Our team does a lot of silly plays but that's all right, I call them the Detroit Globetrotters. Keep up the good work girls. AKA Detroit Todd

Lions fan here, grew up watching Barry, been a fan ever since. GB has always been the most hated team. Nobody cares about da bears or viqueens.

You'll get some cocky chants and jabs in lambeau, but it's usually followed up with a shoulder pat and a "hey just joshing you" 😅

From a Lions fan perspective, we absolutely despise the Packers, from the Favre years through, until we dethroned Aaron in his last year in Green Bay, the Packers owned the division in our eyes. And they took it from our Barry Sanders lead Lions who had dominated for a bit before then. And while the Packers are our main rival due to that, and we have a total FTP mantra, we also respect talent. The smarmy comments from Rodgers when he was there generated quite a bit of vitriol, you will not find many Lions fans that like or even respect him. But now that he is gone, there is a mutual respect IMHO. Lions fans also generally get along well with Vikings fans. You are correct, when it comes to the fanbases the Bears are easily our most disliked. Not only because they are delusional and obnoxious, but also because Chicago is only about 4 and a half hours down I-94 from Detroit. There was also a healthy hatred for the Blackhawks, Bulls, and whatever abomination of a baseball team the village of Ohio would like to field without being racist, I think they call them the Guardians these days 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Good analysis. Packers Lions games are always weird in some way, but also fun - for one of them. I'd say throw out the records, it'll be close.

The Packers will at least compete hard. The lady covering the Lions is too confident, and I feel everyone on here was riding Detroit all the way. It's any given Sunday and I like my Packers chances regardless who is at QB. Lambeau Field needs to be loud!

From 1970 to 1985 went to at least 1 lion game. And the packers will be tough. This is a must win. Period

The Lions have to play left handed if the opposing defense can get pressure up the middle. Goff has to step into his throws and he's not running away from anyone. Most teams don't have the horses to do it though.

I never felt like the Lions were good enough to be/have a rival. Mostly, they were a poorly run franchise that wouldn't have been competitive in any division. Now maybe they'll finally have some. 49ers, Packers, Rams, Bucks, Titans, Cowboys, and Vikings all have reason to circle the Lions games going forward.
