I buy mine at Intrepid Thread and SewYeah in US. Thanks for sharing! The store in London is an inspiration to visit.

In America, Liberty fabrics are very expensive. I have found online shops that sell small amounts on random bases but have not yet found one that consistently sells a healthy range Liberty. However, I have ordered from The Fabric Store in New Zealand. They carry Liberty wovens, knits, fleece and swimwear fabrics. I’m enjoying window shopping with you ☺️

Hi Brenda, glad you enjoyed the window shopping, hope you manage to find other places to buy over there!

I live in the USA and I do love Liberty fabrics for small makes. I find that they are usually priced at $10.00 for Tana Lawn 1/4 yard or $40.00 for a yard which is too expensive for anything other than a small project. But is definitely such a nice fabric. I have not tried the quilting weight but I am sure it would be so nice. Thanks for the video……………..

Hi Pam, yes it’s expensive! The quilting craft cotton (Lasenby) is a lovely fabric too!

Alice Caroline is a shop online with permission from Liberty to do their own colour range of liberty prints so you may find a print you love in a different colour way. They do plains and precuts, and shapes to appliqué. They do have sales which offer great discounts. Plus they also sell by the half meter.

Loved your presentation. Here in U.S. liberty is very pricey. I have purchased scrap bags and have loved playing with them for decoration in my junk journals. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Gemima, have just found your channel and love it. I also love Liberty and have collected each time I visit London, usually from Shaukat and occasionally from Liberty (because why not...such an experience). I also order from Tessuti Sydney, shipping is fast and they sell seasonal Liberty linens which I love to sew with. Tessuti patterns are simple and where I learned to sew only a few years ago. I would highly recommend as they ship worldwide. Could I please request a video of suggested tops/skirts/dresses with the various Liberty bases? For instance I love the Grainline Willow top for Tana lawn. I also love the Gabby dress for printed Linen (not sure if Tessuti sells the Gabby dress pattern anymore, one of the nicest simple fitting dress I've ever made). I also save all my Liberty scraps for either quilts or the bias binding (for instance on the Willow top neckline)as it's soft. Liberty tana lawn is expensive but I have found it long lasting and does not fade. I have taken tops I've made and repurposed the fabric into smaller crop tops, double duty. Please keep up the good work for all of us living near and (very) far.

Hi Sandra, thank you so much for taking the time to comment with your feedback, I really appreciate it. I love the idea of shapes/bases video and will put it on my list. I really like the Tessuti website and have used some of their free patterns, in fact I featured a skirt on my recent free patterns video. The Grainline Willow Tank is a great shape and the Gabby dress also very cute - thank you!

I have just come across your channel. I have been to Shaukat when visiting London. They have such a large stock of fabrics but unfortunately I did find the staff a little 'frosty'. Regardless of my own experience I would recommend them too. I have in the past month found Billow Fabrics, who happen to be in Norfolk where I also live. I ordered some of their Liberty Tana packs to start my hexagon quilt I am making and shall order more in the coming months. Delivery was within 48 hours which certainly impressed me. Looking forward to catching up with your other videos. Sophie.

I’ve just watched your Liberty video and the one about Walthamstow market and found them really interesting and useful. I love finding out about fabric! Here in West Yorkshire, Fabworks in Dewsbury have a great range of dead stock fabrics. They have a small range of Liberty prints and there are sometimes bargains to be found in their discount bins. They have a website but the best bargains are found if you visit personally. The people who work there are lovely and all keen sew it’s. I believe they supply fabric for the Great British Sewing Bee.
