Craig Hill-I got an 89 cr250 when I moved to GA the same year. I was 16 and loved that bike so much cause it handled so well. First 250 I ever rode is when I tested it. Almost works to a country farm boy.
I'm only interested in the 89 CR 250. This one is probably sold. But...I think I'm heading in the right direction in finding one. Looking forward to hooking up with you guys in the Quest for the 89 Cr 250 Happy New Year 🍻
Badass CR. My favorite year. When I was in highschool, in 1989, my cousin's parents bought him a new 1989 CR 80. That thing was a Rippa! Gorgeous Bike!
Love the channel. Love the bike. Love the Honda. Love the legendary 2 stroke dirt bikes. When people start saying 2000 this and 2000 that, they have lost me. 1980 to 1999 bikes are bad ass!!
This was my first cr, loved the color. Rode it several years till I bought a 97. I do think the 97 handled better. And I didn’t have near the trouble out of the factory forks on the 97.
I had my 1989 cr250 completly rebuilt by honda shop in my town and got it back rode a few times and then bought a 2001 cr250 brand new and that 1989 hit way harder than 2001 not even compareable 2001 bike was good but that 1989 250 was a torque monster i had 1987 and 1988 cr125 then 1989 1995 2001 cr 250 I wish i still had my 1987 125 and my 1989 250 i miss then looked good rode awesome
I got one in storage, I ride it every once and a while, and ill be burried with it. LOL! Yours is much cleaner and its cherry! 87-89 have similar seats and side panlels are are all good bikes...
Thank for the videos. I am currently doing frame up restoration on my 1989 Blood Red CR500r. The bike came from Australia and had raced in the fink, and was to far gone to save it as usable original condition (my perference is to save original condition when possible). I'll call it my Kaplan Jr. tribute bike in honor of your youtube content.
Never skimp on fuelling. It’s so critical not only for power but even more for ride-ability and pleasure. Genuine jets on a quality make carb, intended for this application & you won’t regret it.
i'm just about finished bringing mine back to life from a complete rebuild down the frame and i thought i built something great but this is beautiful and makes my work look like dog shit lol
So much wanted one of these, actually was on my way to get one in washington and halfway there the ole lady is like, “ i am going into labor” Dang still think i should have drove n got it! Haaa. Kids change everything!
Gday, I love your videos !! I live in Australia and I have a 1984 CR 250 which is good condition and looks great from a distance I want to take it to the next level can you recommend where to go to for parts ,plastics and stickers. I know some websites but The plastics and stickers Are not up to scratch. Cheers
Omg.. that thing is 1 of the sexiest bikes .. will you guys take my wife in on trade?? She cooks, cleans, and no stain is to tuff and even has a full time job self sustained..
I can definitely attest to the 89 cr250 being one of the most durable and fastest cr 250's I had a good friend that I rode with he went through 2 of these 89 cr 250's I often wondered. Should I have purchased an 89 cr 500?......
Another great weapon! But , wait. What is that gigantic thing squatting over just passed the the blood red terror Ken is talking about? Is it carved from wood? Was that Jr’s 8th grade science project? Can we get the story on that bad boy?
1989 CR250 is one of the prettiest bikes ever made. Make two strokes great again! Although I do really like my 1995 CR250.
Almost finished my dual 1989 Cr250's Looking forward to riding them.
That bike speaks for itself! Awsome 2 stroke!!

People talk about bringing in the level of detail but you and your team really deliver.

😁 love the way you “thread the needle” through and around that canopy 🏍👍 shows confidence in the way the bike handles and performs 🏁
the blood red hondas were the ones I dreamed about for so many years. I had a 86 trx250r but wanted 88-89 quad & dirt bike, such badass machines.
Absolutely beautiful. I remember when these were new in Australia. I think around $3900 . I was 2nd year motor mechanic apprentice. 😷👌☺

Miss World of 80s 250 Mx'rs- just bought one and using it in Portugal, I always reckon these were quicker than the '88 bike, especially off the start.

Had that year myself lived riding it on long fast track. But used and ran great but wore out suspension

Jason Weigent in the HOUSE ..... Sorry if i bastardized his last name
И где он находит такие живые эеземпляры? Этой Хонде более 30ти лет, а выглядит как будто только с конвеера..
🚀👍🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻✊🏻
Don’t sell it !!!!
