DankZesty _ an island is a body of land that is surrounded by water. it stands alone. by saying a man is not an island it means he does not stand alone. He is connected to someone or something such as God or a friend whereas an island is not connected to anything. hope this helps

I`ve got a question about the chorus:
In the first part he sings, "no man is an island, we can be found..."
and later he sings "I`m for you..."
So here is the question: Does he sing it in different perspectives?
Because first I thought he means the perspective of god declaring, he is for me.
But is it also God saying "we can be found"?

I think "we can be found" is sung from the prospective of Jesus declaring His desire of having a relationship with us. "Let your guard down" only God is Trustworthy. "I am for you" only God is Honest. Hope this helps.
I would view "No man is an island" taking the same meaning as it does from the poem by John Donne:
No man is an island,
Entire of itself,
Every man is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thy friend's
Or of thine own were:
Any man's death diminishes me,
Because I am involved in mankind,
And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls;
It tolls for thee.
Each person is part of mankind as a whole. "We're not meant to live this life alone.." means exactly that, expressing the beauty and strength of friendship.
Put simply, I believe this song emphasizes the fact that every individual person in mankind is part of the whole of mankind simply by existing. Friendship helps establish a trust between people and gives you someone on which you can share your burden.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 says:
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him-a threefold cord is not quickly broken."
