Saw Jon play this a bit after midnight this morning (10.25.15), hanging with my daughter and maybe 50-60 other people, at the 15th straight show in his 25 shows in 24 hours in San Diego. Was great and he still had energy. Driving a very cool van too!
Switchfoot has been my favorite band for years and years and what I have always found with them is that their "newest" album always impresses me but it isn't until it has had a little time to breathe and exist in my life before it starts piercing those vulnerable places in my heart. Listening to this performance a little over a year since it was posted, I was near brought to tears and the welling up in my chest was almost more than I could bear.
Saw Switchfoot sing this at Red Rocks last night in Colorado! Jon Foreman you rock man I love how you ran out into the audience and gave everyone hugs. You are truly a Godly representation of what the love of Christ is in rock music!

I saw them perform this song live last night in Quincy, California @ Joshua Fest 2014 & loved every minute of it, Switchfoot is by far my favorite Christian band
He definitely found where his place is! Saw him open for Needtobreathe. He did a few songs with the strings guy and then brought out the opening band to play with him for the rest of the set. Amazing set!
