    Very helpfull video,the acceleration is insane.You can get a good idea how powerful it is because on paper there are only numbers with no meaning :)
    I will hopefully also make a video when i build mine.

      +TheProPyroBoy That would be awesome :)

      Thanks :) Next video will be out on the weekend. Got it now to about 45 km/h

      +Despereaux so, how was it like, to ride 45 km/h on longboard?

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  8 років тому +1

      Too fast... the board started to wobble :D
      I will make the trucks tighter, so speed wobbles don't occur. But it's so much fun :D and definitly worth a video

    • @oleksiifurdylo7930
      @oleksiifurdylo7930 8 років тому

      maybe longer board will help with stability?

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  8 років тому

      good question... I don't know. But I guess it depends on stiffness of the board and how loose the trucks are.

    Hi i watched ur tutorials, lots of valuable information in there, thanks, I was thinkng of building 8s setup with this NTM Prop Drive motor (I have the same) but now after checking HOW EXPENSIVE 8s ESC are.. i changed the project and parts list to 6s baterries and 6s ESC.. i couldnt believe to see the cheapest 8s ESC for about 100 USD.. - it is just to much. not worth those 400W ;)..

      @EOLAND99  8 років тому

      +rocheuro
      Thats right :)
      The price for ESCs with 8s is just not affordable...
      but it would be interesting going on 12s :D

    Smart guy to use a RC control... those things are way way better than skate remotes...

    Very Cool Video! Can you post a list and instructions on how to build this? Thank you!

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  8 років тому

      +Eric Nguyen Thats what I want to do :) But the components like the ESC or the remote are just for testing. I will try using a different ESC with a brake and when everything works fine I will make a building video :) It's not that pleasant for your shoes without a brake :D

    odličan projekat! jeste li testirali autonomiju uređaja? šta koristite za punjenje? kako su baterije posle ovoliko meseci upotrebe?

    great videos watched both part 1 and 2. can i ask what motor you use and how long the board runs total time? the only thing i would like to see on these is a freewheel solution so when it does run dead you can disengage the drive and push the old fashioned way.

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  7 років тому

      The motor is a ntm 50-60 270kv but the dont sell it anymore on hobbyking.
      Well because my batterie is very small runtim is limited to maybe kilometers. But with a better batterie you can go easily 30 km.

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  7 років тому

      cedar rapids fpv racing i would love to have a freewheel :) but i am not able to build it myself 😅

    Is there a video on how to build it because i am building a long board and and want to make it into a electric long board. Thanks :)

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  7 років тому +1

      well putting it all together is easy, but the hard part is to get all the parts you need :D

  • @rocheuro

    and I can see 6s setup/ battery gives quite torque and still pretty amasing.. or at the same time your weight might be 55kg ;)?

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  8 років тому

      Yeah 😅 i weight 62 kg 😂 but my friend with 80kg has also fun with the longboard ☺️

    So now what esc will you get in the board, that handles the acceleration and how hard will it break? Sorry I'm from humgary and i cant so good write in english but i think you understand me😉 That electric longboard is awesome what you made☺ Keep it up😉

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  8 років тому

      I'm using this ESC:
      www.ebay.de/itm/GoolRC-120A-2-6S-LiPo-Batterie-Sensored-Brushless-ESC-pour-1-8-RC-Car-AX72-/131634861838?hash=item1ea60c970e:g:6IUAAOSwo6lWKIMR
      I haven't tried it yet because I'm waiting for the programming card.But you can limit the baking and the acceleration :)
      Thanks :D

    • @davidbors9512
      @davidbors9512 8 років тому

      And that must you program or its be programmed?:D and another question what must i have to control the brake and the acceleration?😄

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  8 років тому

      I just need to set up some settings. It's very easy :)
      To controle the ESC you need something like this:

    how far after you battery runs out?

  • @benstephenson8149
    @benstephenson8149 8 років тому

    Hi this is a sick build!
    Just wondering, have you got the batteries linked up in parallel or in series? And what are the benefits of either?
    cheers

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  8 років тому

      I got the batteries linked in parallel to increase the Amphours and therefor increase range, but the voltage stays at 22 V.

    • @benstephenson8149
      @benstephenson8149 8 років тому

      oh ok, so it just acts as a 6s battery but with double the capacity?

    • @benstephenson8149
      @benstephenson8149 8 років тому

      Can you go over the max watts of the motor by having too many batteries?
      thanks for the quick reply

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  8 років тому

      No thats not possible. The power of the motor is only influenced by the load on the motor and the volts. With more load the amps rise and with more volts the motor wants to spin faster.

    • @benstephenson8149
      @benstephenson8149 8 років тому

      ok thanks for the help,
      ive seen on hobbyking an 8000mah 3s 30c battery and im thinking of getting two of them in paralell. do you think this would give much power or should i go with 6s?
      Thanks

      @EOLAND99  8 років тому

      Well the motor is not available on hobbyking anymore, so you have to search for a similar motor. For the ESC you can find cheap ones on hobbyking or on ebay and the motormount can be homemade or bought at diyelectricskateboard.com/
