- The Renard R.35 was an all-metal trimotor passenger aircraft from late 1930's, it was to become the first pressurized passenger airliner in the world, but was tragicly destroyed in a crash on april 1st 1938.

04:29 4400 kg is not 2000 lbs, it's the other way around: 4400 lbs is about 2000 kg

Excellent. Very much ahead of the rest indeed. The shape reminds me of the Dutch Panderjager. This was however mainly built out of wood. On the other hand it survived its first flight! :-)
