Just bought the limelight trees at Costco online. So excited for its arrival! Love your limelights! So gorgeous! Rose makes me frustrated but limelight gives me hope!

WOW!!! All the yards, front, back and side look beautiful! The hydrangeas are the show stoppers but I love the layering you’ve done with the companion plants as well, plus the mulch and crisp edges make everything look so professional. Well done👏👏👏❤️🌿❤️!!!

Never was a big fan of hydrangeas gotta admit, but the white fluffy blooms look very pretty when it big numbers like this ! Even the ones that have branches that lean down a little look perfect so don't stress out haha
They are the perfect big fluff balls haha if I have a house with a garden one day definitely will plant one as tree ! The tree look was so unique with these.
Jess very nice. I have a limelight that is drooping because of rain and I'm very disappointed. I didn't realized they needed staking. Maybe next year will be better but it is pretty. Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden.

These are beautiful. We planted some of these outside last year and I was so happy to see them bloom this year and are doing good. Just gorgeous.
Yes, the Hydrangeas are so "Pristine." Did anyone notice the neighbors' homes in the background? Their lawns are bare and pale in comparison to Jess'es lawn. I bet the neighbor put up that plain-jane fence because they couldn't bare to watch beauty in the making next door. We love you Jess, keep doing "You."

Looks great!!!! I planted a limelight hydrangea tree over a week ago and it went into shock and I really thought I was going to lose it but she’s starting to come back,,, I have been babying her like crazy!!!! What is your best advice for transplant shock?

Good to know about supporting Limelights. I intend to get one next year. I hadn't heard they look better with some support.
I just ordered some from Gardener's Supply. They're on sale and have a rust-like finish that is really appealing.
BTW, I like your patio without a railing. The gardens sort of act as a railing. It's not necessary. Only if you had a raised deck would code require one. You're at ground level. ☺

Was about to comment on the wood railing...and also the bed used to be separated with a walkway😘
Yesss so glad the railing is gone!! And no walkway yet but I will be installing one eventually 😉😁👩🏾🌾
Moving the railing was a good move. Wood is terribly difficult to maintain outside. So that opened up the porch.
I'd love to know where you can find larger rings. I think what you have are peony supports. I've never found any supports with larger rings, but your limelights are gorgeous!

The railing was ugly and silly...there is no drop off really. Looks a Million times better!!! The plants shine and so does the house!
Thank you for this! I have several limelight’s and I just want to cry, they were gorgeous until this big rainstorm😢 I shook each bloom but did not help. I will try to find some hoops, too late for this year.😢

Hi! I try to do SOMETHING daily.. Whether it's just pulling weeds.. Watering.. Pruning.. Planning.. I don't have a set schedule for anything I garden as I can💚💚💚

What do you do about the branches drooping after a hard rain. I shake the flowers also but it didn't help at all. Of course it rained for 5 days straight! Theirs a split in the middle of my little lime!
My hydrangeas was burnt by the hot sun soooo bad 😢😢😢 i was sooo sad... i had to dig them up
Ohhh nooo did u check the roots?? Move them to a nice shady spot & water them daily they should come back limelights are tough plants😉🙏🏾🙏🏾💚💚

Hi there! I'm not quite sure which spot you are referring to? but none of my garden beds around my property are in shade all day long. I hope that helps!💚

Cut the blooms off that are on the ground and let dry out for potpourri.
It's such a beautiful thing to see all of your hard work payoff. Although this was not a full garden tour the small snippets of your entire garden beds are wonderful! I am awaiting the full tour. The hydrangeas are amazing and your white planters on your back patio with the removal of the fence is a gamechanger!!👏👏

It so impressed with how the support s worked! My Limelights got nailed with wind and rain this year (probably the same storm systems you had) and they've been flopped over ever since.
Your loop steaks are awesome. I've been using individual bamboo sticks on each branch. It's a pain
Your graden is beautiful and I understand about limbs on the ground ,me myself i am always looking out for snakes I like to see the ground when I walk around my home ,again beautiful graden oh yes no fence around your patio looks much better.

Hi, I planted 2 little limelight in pots last fall , got it for50% off at Home Depot it’s coming out good but it’s like really slow. Today I planted 3 of these limelight’s and was happy to see your idea of staking them for support. I garden in zone 6a here in Canada and where I planted them gets so much wind. Shaking the flowers after it rain is something I will have to remember when the time comes . You have a new subscriber here. Thanks for sharing, take care .

Hi. I’m inspired and about to do a row of Limelight’s. I’m in SC. Where I’m planting will be full sun for about 6 hours. I will be able to provide the watering. Do you think the full sun will be fine?
