This area is going to be beautiful! Great choices. Plus the elderberry will shine in that spot. Laura, you had on your new shoes and your haircut looks great! 😊💚🌿

Gm Garden Answer love to start my morning like this 😍😍😍 quick fire hydrangeas look stunning can’t believe no water no sunlight and still and still alive this is lovely 😊
Laura, You warm my heart! I love watching your videos because of how organic you are. You are yourself! Very sweet, and gentle personality. Your videos have helped me create an oasis were I can scape to. Gardening has helped me deal with life, depression, anxiety, sadness, and fear (specially in today's world). Thank you for being a slice of hope and happiness in my life pizza. With Gratitude, Naty from CT
omg , same for me , I have my little oasis that I spend most of my day in... Laura is such an inspiration for me and I get many compliments on my yard. She has changed my outlook on life..when life gets tough that's where you will find me. GARDENING
Had to pause in the middle and say how Aaron is just KILLING IT with his mad filming/editing skillz!! I appreciate it SO much! You two compliment each other so well and were born to do this! Ok, that's all...carry on. LOL
How do you know how much water to give them? Plants always say to use X of inches of water. However, do systems are based on gallons. I've not been able to figure out inches of water, to gallons per hour.
Absolutely love Aaron, but as was said previously, quite sure editing is contracted out, just so credit goes where it is due to... apparently to Ken. I also SO appreciate the editing. FANTASTIC job Ken!!!!!
Not only do I love your passion for planting ! I adore seeing your partnership with Aaron through out your videos. You’re really the first UA-cam channel I subscribed to. Thank you for being the channel that confirmed my Love for planting!
Love all your videos Laura..Praying for your new baby's continued health and development. Your planting designs are spot on and I learn much about the different plant and flower varieties in your lovely garden spaces.
Love this new area. I really like seeing your existing flowerbeds and the new things you add every season but seeing a flowerbed from the start and to see it evolve is exciting.
I love all the beautiful hydrangeas you share. And Im so happy Arron made it where we can now find every episode by year. I discovered you during quarantine and fell in love with your site. I have binge watching and had wished I could start from day one and move forward and now I can. ❤️
Love the brooming technique for moving the mulch. Have you done a video explaining the various sizes of auger bits and where you get them from? We have some beds that have gravel instead of mulch (ugh) and it's now in the soil and they are so difficult to dig when planting.
Yes they have! It's a great video where she explains uses for each size and what drill they are using. I actually purchased both the drill and augers from Power Planter this year and couldn't be more pleased. It changes your life! I have rocky beds as well as clayey soils and it powers thru. I bought the flexvolt joist drill from DeWalt with the E clutch....so when it does bind, it stops rather than yank me around. I don't know why I didn't auger years ago. Don't you wish you had lovely soil to auger like Aaron usually does?
Laura, I use Miracle Gro slow release fertilizer on my Gardenia shrub when my plant has Chlorosis. In approximately two weeks, my Gardenia shrub has the deep green leaves and all signs of Chlorosis are gone. I also get many beautiful blooms on my plant when using the slow release fertilizer. Thank you for featuring the hydrangeas since I have been considering purchasing some to add to my collection.
The Black Elderberry Lace is going to look amazing in that spot - it will all tie together perfectly, providing contrast and similar color... stunning. So exciting!
And she can let the elderberry grow large enough that it can bloom those sweet pink umbrella blooms like that neighbor's yard she showed us earlier this season.
Loving all the newness in this video. New hydrangeas, new shoes and fabulous new haircut and color. You rock; cant wait to see these hydrangeas grow with time they'll be great.
Thank you for all the information on hydrangeas, I've found them to be a really beautiful new addition to my garden & I like how you talk about the full care of these plants.
Yes!!!! Proven Winners sent me these to trial in my garden. I’m in Texas and it’s harsh!!!they are doing great so far! I made a video on my channel about them. So thrilled with them.
Hi Laura and Aaron! I loved when there were multiple Laura's and then there were multiple Aaron's, too! Fantastic editing! Those new hydrangeas will be beautiful when they bloom! I'm so glad you were able to save them. The black lace elderberry will be stunning behind them. The arborvitae hedge is looking fantastic, especially after you removed the dead one and planted the new one. LOL! Your hair looks so pretty, but then it always does. Glad you got the new vans, too! Thank you for sharing!
Love the fading to watermelon pink 😃 that is going to be a gorgeous ‘far corner of the new property’, with the elderberry backdrop ... that will be so beautiful 😍
Ohhhh coffee with Laura, Aaron and some beautiful new Hydrangea's!! those look amazing and I love the other two you showed as well. I sure hope I can get these next spring. The whole area will look so nice with the elderberry in there as well. Plus your hair looked so nice, it must have felt good to have it done. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you for telling us about these new hydrangeas! We can't get enough!!!!! They will be fun to watch and see their incredible blooms! Your hair looks great!
Thanks for talking about the iron issue. I’m also dealing with iron deficiency worse than ever. It was good to see your sulfur/land&sea/biotone mix for my own plants. Thanks!
I have to hand it to you Laura. I sure admire the high standard you keep for yourself. I'm pretty sure I would be content to not put the weed barrier and mulch down until I had everything ready to plant in that corner. It would probably be easier to not sweep away mulch and cut through the landscape fabric to plant the bushes, but you don't settle for anything less than what is beautiful to look at right now. Besides, it might take months to get everything together and you would be looking at that unfinished corner. I love your work ethic and high standard. Your parents taught you well and you are continuing the tradition. Well done! ❤️
That is crazy that those beautiful Hydrangeas got stuck on that train! I am so glad you nursed them back to a healthy state!!!! They will be beautiful in that area! You got me thinking about this new variety for my garedens!! 😍🌿🌱🌻🌾💚❤
Super to see the watermelon hydrangea! Last year I planted 72 limelight hydrangea to line a sunny grassy path I have leading down into the woods, and the conical flower forms were breathtaking. This year, the deer, those little snackers, gave nearly every single one of them a free prune job one early morning, and ate all the tender young everything off the plants! I hope the blooms will be back again next year, but for now, out of 72 initially stunning, robustly flowering bushes, I only got two blooms!
Thanks so much for all your inspiration! During quarantine I was able to rekindle my love of gardening and found your channel. I've learned so much new information watching your videos! I am working on enclosing my new larger vegetable garden area and recently planted 5 Incrediball hydrangeas along the fence perimeter. But the best part is I was able to get my hands on a Pinky Winky hydrangea standard for the corner area of the fence. It totally made my day! Thanks so much for helping me find the joy of gardening again in such a trying time! Also I love the new cut! Looks so much cooler for you! Enjoy the cooler weather coming your way!
I think one more hydrangea behind the maple tree and then the elderberry that blooms pink /purple. Soooo excited for next spring I can't wait . I am living all my gardening and landscaping dreams through you dearest Laura 💜love from a little north African country called Tunisia 🇹🇳♥️
Thanks for your videos! Not only do I watch them as soon as they are posted but, as I'm in Australia, I also go back 6 months, 18 months, etc to see what I should be doing now.
Your plans for that corner sound wonderful! Those hydrangeas backed by a black laceleaf elderberry will be beautiful, especially if you can let the elderberry grow to its natural height, width and arching beauty!
Laura..how I know you are like a good friend..been feeling sad past day or two..I lost my routine alittle..Its evening now and usually i watch your vid in morning. I feel happier for watching..so thank you.. You mentioned the hair appointment..am I right it looks like you had a cut too😁😊..These videos show how much work goes into making a gardens look pretty.its nice to see you working together..and Aaron I like the editing..thanks again Lia
The beauty of plants, is being very resilient and forgiving. Even without blooms and in a pot, they still look great. Can’t wait to see them next summer.😊😊
Good morning Laura, thanks to you, I planted 4 little limelight hydrangeas this spring, so excited for the beautiful panicle blooms...but they ALL scorched! I'm in the same growing conditions, Colorado, high desert, zone 5. I gave them consistent water, and even shaded them?! Where did I go wrong, so disappointed 😞 Yours look great!
Love the video, the shrubs against the fence and your new haircut. Super cute! Looking forward to see the progress. Definitely a beautiful flower choice.
I love the new plantings and I love your new haircut! I have been thinking about cutting mine and seeing yours has motivated me to do it. Enjoy the cool weather to come. Happy gardening!
Laura - one of the videos I return to again and again is the one where you did a complete review of all the types of hydrangea. Hoping you can add these on to that video so I have them in one spot. Such a fantastic reference.
I have similar PW Hydrangeas They are just now fading to pink Here in MI, even I am fading It's been a long, hot summer Yesterday, Aug 29, it was 94 and mostly sunny But I'm not complaining, just praying for our fellow Americans down south in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, etc... Those are going to be beautiful. I just got 2 hydrangeas I am about to plant. This is perfect timing. My cousin brought them to me as she evacuated from DeQuincy, LA.
That is going to be a beautiful corner. Yes add an Elderberry. The colors of those blooms are stunning! Never thought to use a broom with mulch! It works. New haircut looks great. Can’t wait to see the tidbit one.
First, LOVE THE HAIR CUT!!! Second, I am so looking forward to getting my hands on all 3 new hydrangeas!! I have a HORD of hydrangeas in my gardens!! Thanks for all the inspiration and education!! You guys are AMAZING!
Equestrian sculptures would look good in that corner with the backdrop behind the fence; also an old model (A) work truck would look very good in this area along with the shrubs. Few teak benches and Adirondacks chairs too so you can sit down and enjoy not only your garden but the views around there. Thank you for sharing the hydrangeas. they're becoming a world all by them . I'm glad they're propagating many of them. Keep them away from the front walkways, a lot of people like to walk by and steal bouquets of hydrangeas and then you come out there and there's no flowers left. Flowers heads are just awesome!!
Hydrangeas are my favorite! Excited to see the new ones. That corner garden is looking awesome! I do have to say Aaron is doing Awesome himself, with the incredible editing. Ie the bush in bloom and cloning you Laura! Wish there were 4 of me helping in my garden. ☺️
Absolutely hooked on your channel! Even though I’m UK based, really enjoy catching up with your garden journey. So many fab ideas, great presentation and inspiration. Thank you! ☺️👍🏼
I have hydrangeas beside my porch this one is about 5 years old I love him because my great-grandmother used to grow them in Oklahoma this one's blue one and it is gorgeous I have a pink one on the other side now they are gorgeous
Good morning! Kudos to those Hydrangeas for toughing it out !! You description of what that area will look like sounds amazing, we all look forward to the progress. Thank you once again for your sweet demeanor, Laura. Aaron’s talent in videotaping and helping you with the auger is also fun to view. Enjoy your cooler temps!! 💜
Love the hair cut!! Looks light/airy and bouncy! Also a black lace elderberry would look sooooo nice there, you have to keep the blooms on it to tie in the light pink colors
I have fallen back in love with hydrangeas and I especially love creamy white ones (Limelight and Annabelle?) and I’ve asked family for them for Christmas. It’s nasty here in the uk so I’m watching back videos and I’ve just finished watching a video where you introduce Russel and I think you said he’s 13 or 16 weeks old. He was being naughty in your plant room upstairs 😸😼😸😆😆😆 I have to say you look so neat and you wouldn’t know that you are pregnant xxxx One last thing I noticed multiple Laura’s and Aaron’s in your video, please may I have a pair to help me in my garden 😆😁😁😁
Hi Sue and Paul...here in the states at least in the southeastern part, we have had so much rain, so my hydrangeas are loving it! I too have Annabelles and Limelight. 🌺🌷🌼😊
Paul T's World. Hi Paul I live in the south of the uk and have loads of limelight’s. Do you use plant supports. Thinking of investing for next yr. I have two limelight’s in tree form either side of my gate and they are stunning but they get hit hard with rain. Do you have any tips.
Hi Brooke, how fabulous you’ve got limelight’s. My paniculata has really strong stems so I’m OK. I have heard people putting stakes behind the limelights and holding up the main stems with twine so they don’t flop too much - in this way the support isn’t noticeable.
Hi Laura.. you look great with your new hair style ..loved the hydangea..and i love it how u know the type of the soil u have and how to treat it ...wish u all the luck with the new property ...with the new look and with the new baby ..stay safe snd healthy ..❤
I can't wait (hmm... I guess I'll have to) to see this area a year from now, it'll be beautiful! I look forward to your videos every day, thank you! ~Margie
I have a hydrangeas on my ground by my porch and I love these cuz my great-grandmother used to grow these in Oklahoma she had the blue and the pink ones and they are gorgeous
That corner is going to look stunning! I love hydrangeas. By the way you guys do great editing. I loved when that hydrangea popped up at 1:29 and you could see how it will look in full bloom.
I never clicked play so fast! I love hydrangeas!!! I was surprised to hear there are three new ones! That area will be so gorgeous with the elderberry, maple and arbs too!
I love the new day, new hair! I had to go back to the beginning to check that I wasn’t crazy and your hair was longer when the video started😆 Hydrangeas and hair both look amazing. Can’t wait to see it all grow in with the big elderberry in the back!!
Thanks for the heads up on the new varieties I’ll have to check with my supplier soon. Btw does anyone else dance 💃🏼 in the kitchen when the snappy planting music 🎶 comes on? 😆
This area is going to be beautiful! Great choices. Plus the elderberry will shine in that spot. Laura, you had on your new shoes and your haircut looks great! 😊💚🌿
I was going to say the same thing!! I have the same hair cut and I’ve been loving it!

Noticed the haircut but not the shoes. Good eye!
Only 5k now! 🎉🎉
There’s A Girl In The Gardens I am so excited for them. Not long now.
Unrelated but Laura you did something fabulous to your hair recently! Loving your refresh girl ::snap snap:: 💃💃💃 ♥️♥️♥️
In her last Q&A video she mentioned that she was going in for a cut and color that day...
Mid video! Hahaha
Aha, see, my eyes don't lie 😂
Gm Garden Answer love to start my morning like this 😍😍😍 quick fire hydrangeas look stunning can’t believe no water no sunlight and still and still alive this is lovely 😊
The elderberry would be fantastic there and you would not have to prune it!
Yes!
Yes! Love that idea!!
Good idea!
Love it! 🌳
I have almost all varieties of elderberry and they are gorgeous as a "specimen" tree as well.
You guys are so close to 1 million subscribers! I remember when this channel was just a small 50k channel. How times have changed
50k small!! Wow, I'm super, super small then!

Plants looks great! Think they will really draw the eye down to that area. Hair looks great too!
This area is going to be amazing when those hydrangeas are in bloom!
He was being naughty in your plant room upstairs 😸😼😸😆😆😆
I have to say you look so neat and you wouldn’t know that you are pregnant xxxx
One last thing I noticed multiple Laura’s and Aaron’s in your video, please may I have a pair to help me in my garden 😆😁😁😁
Me too, I'm in the UK and have decided my hydrangeas are my show plants - love them.
Hi Sue and Paul...here in the states at least in the southeastern part, we have had so much rain, so my hydrangeas are loving it! I too have Annabelles and Limelight. 🌺🌷🌼😊
Hi Anna, lovely aren't they...I've decided my seven aren't enough...😊. I'll be busy digging a new bed this Winter.
Loved that music during the planting💃. Those hydrangeas will be a showstopper all together like that, and the black lace elderberry... 👌👌
Hi Laura.. you look great with your new hair style ..loved the hydangea..and i love it how u know the type of the soil u have and how to treat it ...wish u all the luck with the new property ...with the new look and with the new baby ..stay safe snd healthy ..❤
Yay I've been nerding out so much over these new hydrangeas, I can't wait to get some 🤩🤩🤩
You both work so well together! Love your new hair cut and color! 💕😀
I loved the planting edit! That is exactly what I need... 5 Laura’s to help in the garden.😸
I can't wait (hmm... I guess I'll have to) to see this area a year from now, it'll be beautiful! I look forward to your videos every day, thank you! ~Margie
I loved the planting time-lapse today. Beautiful editing, Aaron!
I have a hydrangeas on my ground by my porch and I love these cuz my great-grandmother used to grow these in Oklahoma she had the blue and the pink ones and they are gorgeous
I am always amazed with the editing team.
Wow!!! Those are going to be sensational in that area of the new garden🌾🌾
Love the idea of the elderberry at the back! Interesting. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
I can't wait to see them in bloom next summer! You look lovely with your new, shorter hair!
Yeay I already missed the planting videos 😄 so excited to come along for the ride with this property
Nice, a little corner that can "do their thing". Fun to see how it progresses. 🌱
