I play Lucio and I have to say that advice is spot on until your team yells at you 40 times while spamming "I NEED HEALING" because the Moira is DPSing the whole game
Complementing Sombra's tip, you also don't want to place your tp on top of the health packs most of the time for a couple of reasons: 1. If it's an accessible pack where fights usually take place, enemy players would try to use it and find your tp, destroying it or camping it 2. Placing your tp in the high ground allows you to either drop down to take the pack or stay up there depending on the situation. You give yourself more options
btw a tip on zen don't play like a flank most of the time so flanking is a surprise be a healer ,be a pealer and remember :if the dps ask you to swap ,tell them to stop running away from you or dodging you heals (breaking line of sight)
To add to genii tip: for controller players higher sensitivity is best but if you feel it’s too much try to work around the 40s sensitivity as a start and manage your placement in fights. Knowing other heros cool downs and estimating when counter genji enemy ults are available will improve your overall performance. Use dash not only for kills but for escape/movement. The dash resets when you get a kill and when you ult. I recommend aim arena to practice against pharah and echo. It’s always funny seeing players switching to those hero’s and have a pikachu confuse face on their end.
Since you didn't mention it about Lucio but I think it's probably the most important thing to know about him, his healing isn't constant relative to being in healing vs speed boost. If you're on speed, switch to healing and then back to speed as fast as it will let you, you and your allies still receive healing for a few seconds. This allows you to maximize the uptime on your speed boost while still healing.
It absolutely does not heal your teammates after switching auras... this is misinformation. The "lasting effect of the aura" only applies to players that were in his aura that have just moved out of his aura. Teammates that move outside of his heal/speed aura see the aura effect last for ~1sec after they leave. The main reason you see upper level Lucio players switch between speed vs heal is it makes him harder to hit. Very hard for a person to track Lucio if his speed changes unpredictably. DO NOT do this if you lower rank, and you are with your team trying to get picks at the start of the fight, as it will screw up your DPS's aim and your team will lose the fight. Another reason you see him switch frequently is that switching to speed boost will give you a slight boost in speed, which directly translates to reaching maximum wallride speed very quickly. Getting to the wall so you can start wallriding as quickly as possible is the best possible way to stay alive (provided you aren't already on the wall).
the thing about not using healing as much with lucio is that usually your other support won't be able to get enough healing done for the team to stay alive, for various reasons. i get opting for using mainly speed amp in higher ranks, but for the average player that will just end really badly.
While I partially agree with this statement, I'd like to refer to @Not Applicable's comment: "Since you didn't mention it about Lucio but I think it's probably the most important thing to know about him, his healing isn't constant relative to being in healing vs speed boost. This allows you to maximize the uptime on your speed boost while still healing." It's all about managing the "when," but still spending most of your time on speed throughout the total match; not necessary within that moment of a fight. There will certainly be times (especially at lower rank) when you need more healing to clutch a team fight. Even then, it can still help to quickly speed tap, then back to heals to maintain unpredictable movement.
@@ASimpleInternetUser Wow I have like 350 hours in the game and didn't know that. From the description it sounds like it works kinda like Moira's piss for a short while?
I used to play overwatch a lot and mained lucio. The best timing in battle for the healing would be if you or any one of your teammates would just hit red. Other than that, the speed is needed. And use your blast back to disposition an enemy that is shooting at your teammates, not just for pushing them off ledges.
I'm a super noob at the game so i've been watching these to learn, I love lucio a lot so far, and I'm glad I at least have that last part down, but I'll try focus on balancing speed as well.
The most important tip is that it is important to not be a one trick. This is still a game where counterpicking is king, and I feel like that is lost on a lot of new players. If the enemy team has an Ana that has been shutting you down the whole game, maybe now is a good time to switch off the Roadhog.
As a junk main: Yes! Totally save mines for mobility to escape that duel that is mot going your way or if someone flanks you, what you could also do is use a mine for both attack and mobility if you get too close to a rein for example

You should be positioning accordingly depending on enemy dps and tank, whether its up on high ground or behind cover majority of the time. It's a great video for newcomers. I like his style and pacing in this video. But there is absolutely nothing new and even some false advices for us old-guards. E.g. that's not at all how one should be playing Reinhardt. This isn't OW1 anymore. Shield is primarily for yourself, not for your team mates to hide behind. YOU should be the one being aggressive and dealing as much damage as possible. If you play Rein defensively in OW2 you have already lost the game.
As someone who enjoy playing Genji, I'm sure someone has put this tip in the comments somewhere, but something I keep messing up on is the dash resets every time you get kills, particularly when you're ulting. I feel like a lot of times I fail to get good blades (or kill combos in general) because I end up dashing into nothing and wasting the dash immediately after getting a kill, so just be mindful of those and be sure to know when you're using it! Wasting a dash can cause targets to get away from you quickly since you've lost your biggest mobility move.
I'm a new player and I've been basically forced to play support because of role queue challenges and extra xp from all roles queueing. So I tried a few different supports and landed on zenyatta. He just feels really good to play as, I've gotten play of the game a few times, kicker a tank into a hole on a capture point map and gotten fairly high kill streaks (6-7). I know he's a healler and I do that too, but when properly thought out he has huge offensive pressure, enemies have to avoid being seen by you or just rush you and make themselves an easy target.
I feel like movement is probably your BEST tool as mercy, if you can figure out when to far jump, when to high jump, fast falling as well as slow falling. Honestly might be just as hard to hit a good mercy as a good Lucio.
with echo you're forgetting about the very limited health you get from duping tanks. this makes it a lot harder to play them and farm their ult cause you just die really quick
Don't pop Sombra's ult alone, wait until teammates are using their ults (i.e. Zarya, moira) i see a lot of newer players just throwing out their ult as soon as their team gets to the point

i installed OW2 today and i gotta say im loving it, ive been playing junker queen a ton and that shotgun has like perfect accuracy, also while playing junker queen its not worth it to go for the head when shooting
Aspiring tracer here, I have found one caveat with the reaper fade blip... If you're in a losing fuel with a character who has hitscan weapons that out damage you, just use fade to get out, YES I might have missed my pulse bomb, but I STILL have the ability to 2 clip you without being hit by a single pellet
Jumping being easier to hit is news to me, bunny hopping is used in some many games to make you harder to hit, IMO jumping being easier to hit only applies to hit scan opponents as projectile characters at least at range are usually just spamming head level so moving up and down is important (I’m not a hyper knowledgeable player so go with this man’s opinion if you want the more reliable advice)
with Mercy, if the opposing team doesnt have a bunch of accurate hitscan then in a teamfight you can use her ability to fly towards another teammate, then press the button to fly upwards at the end of a glide, and force your foes to choose between aiming up at you (leaving your team unharmed) or aiming at your team (leaving you unharmed). Using that manoeuvre can also get you a lot of mobility to reach high ledges, even if your team are all on ground level. I think the button to do it is crouch, but it's what that bar to the right of the crosshair represents. When you've glided far enough towards a teammate that it's almost full, you can get some serious height out of the ability. ^_^
As a Moira main, I disagree with the dueling tip. Most duels you take will need to be finished before backup arrives, and damage orb can finish off the enemy if you die to a headshot while heal orb will just sit there being useless.
Yeah its target and context specific for me too. Especially with her amazing mobility upgrade since the fade jump was added unless you are melted you shouldnt need the heal orb to get out
I Was thinking the same thing. It's also pointless to use it as a dodge if you only have a sliver of health left. Any player worth their salt is going to kill you. On top of that though you can buy time for you team to arrive.
@@skelekey2you arent supposed to use it with a sliver of health, hes saying use it in an entirely different situation, and staying in it gives time for the enemy to crowd around you.
@@DeertickDaniel I could see it that way but then it's kind of risky to use one of your best tools for healing as a dodge and not have it ready for the inevitable next encounter. Give and take.
As a Moira main I like to duel with damage orb if im engaging from an ambush such as if I used fade to long jump into the enemies backline. To burst down the enemies supports or snipers before someone can peel on me. But if it's a straight up duel I will sandbag a healing orb to tank or disengage.
I main Mei and another tip is you can stand on your Ice Wall and it'll give you a vantage point and can save your life potentially, especially if you have your Ice Block as well.
im glad i found a few extra tips for Echo, i hardly ever find any & it’s so sad!! 😂 i only have around 60 hours in the game as i’ve started in season 2 of overwatch 2, and it’s my first FPS game. I originally played Widow as my main but CANNOT have accuracy like that at all xD so when i unlocked Echo i tried her and fell in love. i think i have 30-40 hours with her. Would love a video about her if you haven’t already!!!!
Honestly, my problem with Lucio players on my team, is the fact that WAAAAY too many try to Reddit Lucio and they are simply not good enough. They either feed their brains out or they do nothing noticable as they sit in the enemy back line. Very rarely do I come across a Lucio player who is actually good at being aggro and even rarer do I see a Lucio who knows when to back out of being aggro.
i wasnt a fan of cassidy with his stun because it wasnt nearly as fun as he is now, but my biggest thing with him in ow2 is flanking a tank, using alt fire and dodge roll to reload it quickly to follow up with another burst. ive gotten really consistent kills on tanks with that combo
The best tip imo for solider is reload canceling as soon as he pops the ammo on top of the gun you can use rockets or sprint abilities to cancel half your reload animation you will train 30 min in shooting range and you will never stop using it, you can thank me later.

I peep the fairy tail theme in the back!!
Nice feature of the lo-fi crossing roads in the background
Loving the fact that the background music is black catcher
As a Moira main I like to duel with damage orb if im engaging from an ambush such as if I used fade to long jump into the enemies backline. To burst down the enemies supports or snipers before someone can peel on me.
But if it's a straight up duel I will sandbag a healing orb to tank or disengage.
6yrs and I didn't know the Ashe tip...beautiful 👌
I main Mei and another tip is you can stand on your Ice Wall and it'll give you a vantage point and can save your life potentially, especially if you have your Ice Block as well.
I haven’t even started playing OW2 yet but here’s my head start
That parasyte soundtrack caught me off guard... Good tips
im glad i found a few extra tips for Echo, i hardly ever find any & it’s so sad!!
A zen and anna guide would be godsend
The jojo music is amazing
Love the song choices in ur vid!!!
I like to watch these kind of videos to learn what to look for and understand different ways to counter specific heros lol
Love the Fairy Tale theme in the background.
This is a great video. I don’t have much more to say than that but wanted to comment for the slight algorithm boost
So excited for the genji guide
Is the music behind the first few characters the FairyTail theme?😂
Love the Fairytail theme in the background.
Someone make a super cut of him saying “The next character that I’m gonna talk about is none other than _____ “
I like this game but idk if I can play long term knowing I get tbagged by a hitscan lol
fairy tail background music got u a sub instantly
“Sigma wants to slowly whittle down the enemy over time” ah, so that’s why rock basic attack kills now.
Sick video Zog!! Bang bang bang!!
Really wish these videos had chapters
the parasyte ost went crazy
Honestly, my problem with Lucio players on my team, is the fact that WAAAAY too many try to Reddit Lucio and they are simply not good enough. They either feed their brains out or they do nothing noticable as they sit in the enemy back line. Very rarely do I come across a Lucio player who is actually good at being aggro and even rarer do I see a Lucio who knows when to back out of being aggro.
That subtle shift to Giorno's theme at 7:58 lol
I’m diggin the fairy tail jingle in the background. You’re a man of culture. Also, great tips jus started playing gonna try these out
i wasnt a fan of cassidy with his stun because it wasnt nearly as fun as he is now, but my biggest thing with him in ow2 is flanking a tank, using alt fire and dodge roll to reload it quickly to follow up with another burst. ive gotten really consistent kills on tanks with that combo
thanks for the video i just started playing this is the first overwatch i play so it was useful to me
The parasite them in the background was nostalgic
please put timestamps for each character
Love the SAO music in the background
The best tip imo for solider is reload canceling as soon as he pops the ammo on top of the gun you can use rockets or sprint abilities to cancel half your reload animation you will train 30 min in shooting range and you will never stop using it, you can thank me later.
I really like his character but he takes great deal of damage way too fast.
love the fairy tail background music
I love how the first tip for Mercy is "stop dying" xD
