- Medical expert Dr. Jayne Morgan joined "NewsNation Now" on Friday to discuss Princess Kate's announcement she is in the early stages of cancer.
"The recovery for incidental diagnoses generally is quite good because that means that those types of cancer were caught before they were symptomatic," Morgan said, speaking broadly without the specific details of Kate Middleton's condition.

i was diagnosed with cervical cancer, very early stages a couple years ago..i had a full hysterectomy 7 weeks of treatment, cancer free now ever since!! my prayers are with the princess!!!🙏

Here's my take. Kate had a radical hysterectomy, ovaries, uterus, the whole 9 yards. It took time to carefully go through all those internal organs for pathology. This is NOT taking a small biopsy from a tumor and getting a result in a week. The cancer was found is incidental. It has not spread but when you have major surgery and your intestines are sitting on your chest whilst they take out your reproductive organs, a single cancer cell might be floating around and seed itself. Chemo should prevent this from happening. She'll be just fine! God Bless the Princess of Wales!

Kate wasn’t secretive about the surgery she underwent. She just kept it private. There is a big difference. That is her right.

She is a public figure paid by taxpayers! If she wanted privacy she should have married a common man and not the next in line to the throne. She made more of a media frenzy about this situation when she could have been up front like Charles did about his diagnosis!

Kudos to the anchorwoman for having the doctor review chemo versus radiation therapy. People still confuse these. I wish her well in her own personal journey.
If we do not know much, what are we discussing? Cancers are very different, with different prognoses.
What I heard Catherine say was that she HAD cancer.
Not that she HAS cancer.
A rather important distinction... especially as she refers to the chemo as a 'preventative.'
Cancer is always considered “in remission”… not cured
everybody has cancer. sometimes it grows, sometimes it doesn't.
If you had any knowledge you would know that not knowing you had cancer, then have an operation can actually cause cancer to spread.
They found whatever they removed was cancerous.
It was discovered after her January surgery and there is the advice for 'preventive chemotherapy'. So whatever cancer was removed surgically may still be there in microscopic amounts. Hence the chemo. You cannot say she HAD cancer therefore and that is also not what Catherine said in the video.
She gets better care than the rest of us ever will.

Just leave her alone. We do not need Dr's in the USA to give their opinion on the cancer.

Cancer is such a sensitive issue & the Royals have a right to privacy. Princess Kate wanted to wait until her children went on break to publicly disclose her diagnosis. The public can speculate all they want to but she shouldn’t be forced to disclose more than she’s comfortable doing. The Royals have the best Doctors afforded to them and all Princess Kate and King Charles need are well wishes and prayers. 🙏🦋🕊️

My point was and still is that there is a MUCH MORE PERTINENT story that needs airing, hence my hashtag. As _that story_ is probably the most important story in our lifetime where not only press freedom is concerned but how whistleblowers will be handled in the future, plus, how our first amendment is taking a hit in the courts lately, the Assange case is the flashpoint for all of those attacks today.
But yeah, a princess in England had cancer. Hey, that sucks, and from a basic human position, I hope she gets through it. But other than that, why does this network feel the need to post MULTIPLE POSTS about that story? Oh, right, it's _always_ about $$$, I forgot; it's about the clicks.
