Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this song performed in normal electric version by 5 members at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo on Sep.7. Miku sang beautifully with her chest voice instead of falsetto used in this acoustic version.
This beautiful song surprised me when I found the meaningful and suggestive lyrics about two lovers on the verge of being parted had been inspired by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. That is why Sayonakidori = Nightingale (*). Miku is a truly talented artist, and an excellent producer as well.
* Juliet "Wilt thou be gone? it is not yet near day: It was the nightingale, and not the lark, That pierced the fearful hollow of thine ear; Nightly she sings on yon pomegranate-tree: Believe me, love, it was the nightingale."
AKANE was very worried about whether she would be able to sing well when it was decided that she would sing chorus on this song, so she practiced at SAIKI's house all night.
People tend to forget that all five sing quite well, not just Miku and Saiki. I mean, would His Holiness TinyHat-san settle for anything less?
I think Akane is using "Hot Rod" drum sticks here, which allow a mellow drum hit just perfect for here. Akane singing was such a nice surprise.....
The amplified version of this song is spectacular, maybe one of the best songs on "Unseen World." The band did an acoustic "serving" last Christmas (this is taken from that) where they dressed casually and played stripped down versions of some of their songs. It's quite interesting to compare a frenetic song like this one, or "Different," with a more relaxed version. One thing that jumps out is just how great the singing is. They closed their show with "Page" and all five singing harmony, and it was really touching; "stay beautiful."

One of the saddest songs that i have heard from Band-Maid.
The songs was based on Romeo & Juliet story.
Sadder are the two acoustic songs they did at Zepp Tokyo with just Saiki and Kanami. Heartbreaking.

♥ this! Miku has such a lovely voice. MISA really drives this song. Who knew Akane had such a nice voice?
I noticed Akane's voice in the Band-Maid "Moments" type fan shorts on UA-cam where they all sing "America" (Amedeeka) A cappella, I believe she starts it and holds the note quite well. If you haven't watched them they're fun.
Akane sang happy birthday to Sai-chan on one of the Okyuji livestreams. I know that's not vocally challenging but she had a powerful melodic voice :)
Akane has the most powerful voice in BAND-MAID but i don't know why that doesn't surprise my when the Maids always continue to surprise me. I'm confused now.🤔

Little known fact: that was actually Akane's amplified voice they blasted the space cloud with in the Unleashed!!!!! video. True story. ;-)
I know when she's just talking, she has the most powerful voice of all the Maids. I'd hate to have her get mad at me. I'll bet she could lay it on you like her double kicks! 😩💋

In the trio portion of their special Christmas Acoustic concert, Miku sings like a beautiful Nightingale Pigeon! In the electric version, she sings as relentlessly as the song is played.🕊 Thx, TiTD!
It must be more daunting for Miku singing this song electric live knowing that super high line is coming. Btw who's TiT D.😏🤭

I know they all can sing, but it's unusual (to me at least) to hear Akane, Mincho or Misa. Although Misa said in an interview when she goes to karaoke she sings a song, has a few drinks and sings the same thing again a couple more times without realising 😄
It's not you is it Mark that supplies MISA with the drinks so she's eager to get up & belt out renditions....of the same song?😆
@@GaryHolloway-810 I wish, I'm sure even when I was her age she could drink me under the table. I think it would be fun to meet all of them, but I like a kick ass bass player 😄

They all do provide vocals for the backing tracks. Plus there has been at least 2 occasions where their backing tracks messed up and Akane just pulled the mic that's normally over her left shoulder forward and they stuck a mic on MISA's mic stand and they both sang backup in addition to Kanami. Once in Dallas, and once in Europe.
My understanding is Akane and MISA just find it hard to play and sing at the same time. Especially at the level they play at.
Miku can sing.
We need more Miku songs.
