If he is not up for Australian of the year then there is something wrong. He has probably helped more people than will ever be known. He is a true champ.
What a beautiful interview. Courtney Act is such a warm and thoughtful interviewer! And Nat... what an icon for mental health and all round excellent human. I grew up in the church and struggle in similar ways. So grateful to have heard more of Nat’s story!
As someone who suffers from anxiety and depression, but also considered fairly high functioning, Nat is right about how its one of the better feelings to let people know about what your going through rather then letting it consume you from inside. And it brought tears to my eyes about hearing how hes also suffered through it but found an avenue to get it out. Nat is a true treasure to this world
Wonderful conversation between 2 very warm and genuine people. Thank you for being vulnerable and contributing towards a more inclusive and enriching world for us all.
Aw man, I just want to give Nat a huge hug.. it’s heartbreaking to see the pain in his face when he speaks of his struggles with depression. Courtney did a great job interviewing 🥰
I liked Nat before ... but now I am completely full of admiration for a fair dinkum bloke who works hard at improving himself and as a consequence, the world around him. Well done Courtney Act for this insight.
Two beautiful people inside and out! Love ya Nat and Courtney! What a great interview. I would be happy to have a sit down chat with either of you! Both national treasures as far as I am concerned! :D
I just watched this interview again after probably a year. I think a bunch of my friends need to watch it too. It didn't make me cry but I understand anxiety and depression. Nat has decided to kind of take it on the road and deliver the message so softly. I adore him!
What an all around good guy. I love his videos. His honesty is refreshing . His relationship with Jules is so cute to watch as well. He deserves every bit of success he has !
I understand what he means about religious guilt. I used to pray for my relatives and friends to be safe at night, and if I accidentally left one out I was genuinely worried (and guilty) that something awful might happen. No one told me that was how it worked, that was just my childish understanding of it all. It's all a bit ironic because it is supposed to be about love but somehow it gets messed up and focuses on guilt and fear.
Such a lovely interview! Absolutely loved Cortney’s style of interviewing! Like a calm thoughtful conversation of two friends. No pressure, both listening carefully and respectfully. Nat is my absolute fave champion! Please stay on your mission! The world needs you! Lots of love from the UK!
After work on Friday, me and two other truck drivers were having a chat in the car park after a 13 hour day for all of us. I mentioned that my mental health was down during the week and how great Lifeline was when i called a few years ago. I started something. I said if you need cry it is ok. One of the blokes just let it all out. He just had bottled up his mental health. I got his mobile phone and put the Lifeline number in it. I called him on Saturday and he was so thankful for giving him permission to let it out.
I'm approaching my 56th birthday, I've no tats or piercings so I'd probably look out of place hanging out with Nat and Jules. But, if they were ever in Ireland I'd love to meet them for a beer or whatever. Apart from being really decent people, they seem like they'd be great company, or as we say in Ireland, great craic. Keep on keeping on Nat! And thank you, you helped me through last year.
Came here to watch something funny to distract myself during a minute of having a tough time because of a song i heard playing outside which reminded me of having my heart broken. Saw two of my favourite people interviewing and got a beautiful interview addressing mental health. Thanks. You really helped me today and you're both inspirations.
Oh man , hearing Nat talk about his trauma in his head is fears of doing something wrong , due to church life as a kid, is like what I'm experiencing. It messes you up

That was absolutely delightful. Love both of you, and that interview had such depth and gentleness. Definitely what i needed on a chilly Wednesday morning
I love Nat so much! My hubby is in home hospice and I've been watching his videos for laughs to get me through. After a week long depression at 12AM he inspired me to get back down into my kitchen and whip up a homemade fresh pasta and a nice oat milk latte. It's my favorite thing to do and it was nice to feel proud and like I made something so joyful and comforting that I can share later with my sweet hubby.

Bloody love your work Nat (& Jules!). Giving Kudos to the strong women around ya for helping you be a good bloke and not part of the 'Bro zone layer'! Rad shizz. You're a tops role model for fellas out there.
Totally identify with how difficult it was growing up in the Hills if you didn't fit a certain mould and/or you had mental health issues. From the outside the Hills looks this suburban ideal but for many of us it's just hell inscribed in red brick. Really great to see someone who is just a good bloke do so well.
God Nat, everything you just said just resonated with me, thank you take care and keep fighting the good fight. Also Courtney, that was a great interview, to let Nat open like that and to give him the opportunity to is a great thing.
Love Nats Success. Found his channel during our Vic's lockdown.. made me laugh til my abs( that are well and truly are hidden) hurt. Read his book, laughter and tears while reading. Went to one of his shows in melb with a mate and my mate said I was super loud with laughter lol such a great Aussie bloke. And having Jules behind the camera but seeing her and hearing her in his Vids is wonderful. Keep doing what you're doing Nat. I am here. Thank you so much for everything especially the laughter
