I am a former resident of Albuquerque and a balloon pilot as well. I wasn't able to make Fiesta this year. I've been watching the Fiesta coverage from all the Albuquerque stations instead I wonder if the Albuquerque media has become bored with ballooning and Balloon Fiesta. I remember the Fiesta coverage was outstanding and covered by Live Coverage and reporters from from the field interviewing pilots as they ready the craft for flight. I know it's only day TWO. This is just an observation but Residents and non-residents alike look forward to à quality broadcast; This ISN'T IT! The Balloon Fiesta IS THE PREMIER EVENT in the State of New Mexico, worthy of proper coverage. IF the all stations in Albuquerque are too busy to cover it, or bored, you need to rethink this., FOR OVER FIVE DECADES Balloons, Balloon Fiesta and countless pilots from around the world have put on a show. NOW, Since the 50th Balloon Fiesta, your station and the rest seem to have given up on the event. You can't just report on the accidents, ALL THE STATIONS NEED TO RETHINK YOUR LACK OF COVERAGE. The Worlds Premier Ballooning Event deserves more than just a HALF ASS EFFORT!😮😢 .
