I am going to have to return mine to Amazon. My Rav4 is a 2021 and they have changed to different kind of bulbs, not like the one you are showing. The LED's won't fit. Oh well, worth a try. Great videos.

Does it matter how you install the bulbs? I'm considering doing this to my car but I'm scared I'm going to break things. The factory installed bulbs are so low light I still have a flashlight in my car. My car is brand new and only had 4 miles when I drove it off the lot but so odd how dimm it is.
no worry installing these lights ,as you see i did it in my Rav4.Do not install cheap Amazon lights go with LASFIT brand T10 LED lights. The only thing to be careful when removing plastic map light/vizor cover, do it carefully. Its been 2 years now since I installed these, still working great no issues.
The first video shows exactly how to get access to the bulbs. Others were not as detailed and clear and left me without success. I'm ordering Lasfit LED's. Thanks!
@@nazarettos6987 Not really. There are some confusing videos out there. That talk about taking the center trim piece off first and then removing the light covers and replacing the bulbs that way. Your method of taking the whole Console out and replacing the bulbs is much easier. You just have to have the right tool and get a hold of the whole unit and pry it out from those red clips.

Your installs were the T10 Lastfit bulbs. But the dome light replacement was a bullet shaped Lastfit. According to my research that was the 28MM 194 168 that you can only buy in pairs like all Lastfit bulbs. Correct?
I believe it is,but check on lasfit website. Even if the bulb is little bit longer, yoi can slightly bend that metal connector and push in the bulb into place.
All you need is T10 for your interior lights for dome light get 31mm if you have issue plugging it in,you can bend that small metal pice that hold led in place and it will fit.

I have a 2021 R4 Prime, I have read in some forums where they say that you have to disconnect the car battery to change the map lights. Your map lights looked similar to mine and I noticed that you had no issues doing it live. Is the tool you are using part of a light package or did you buy that separately, I have some, but not that thin, if separate, can you please provide link. Great video.
I did not have to disconnect battery. You can just have your car shut off for this procedure. Also that yellow plastic tool that I used,I bought it Harbor Freight tools its called trim removal tool. You can also find this plastic parts trim removal tool at Menards or any home improvement store.. These T10 leds are great, click on the link in description and use my code. You don't really need that plastic tool kit,but why I'm using it is?because I don't want to damage trim with screw driver. @@nazarettos6987 sorry that am just getting back to your massage. Yes the gray part on the inside. I can get the back of the gray plastic up but the front of it Seems to be stuck, I don't want to brake it.
When my LED did not work, I thought I blew a fuse. I just had the sun visor pushed too far forward. When I pulled the visor back halfway, they LED worked.
Do you have any problem with the LED interior lights? Since LED lights consume less wattage than halogen, have these LED caused any warnings from the Rav4 system?
I just got a rav 4. Right away I noticed how poor the lights was. I replaced all of them with leds. Now I'm going to get these. Thanks for the link.

Hello, I follow your link to lastfit and all I see was 31mm dome light not 28mm. Did you use the 31mm?

For the interior you will need 5 T10 LEDs, 1 dome light which is NOT T10 and 2 T 10 Leds for back up lights.

Can't tell any difference. You need to show both otherwise the camera rebalances the brightness.

If the sun visor is pushed too far forward the vanity lights will not work.
I haven't check it myself,but hen you open sun visor all the way,what's the point of that light if you can't see yourself in the mirror.

There are no issues with these interior LEDS. So far I had no problems with LASFIT leds, Toyota does not show any problems in any of the systems.
