You took the cwords right outta my mouth! I love watching her eat, but at the same time, it makes me queasy coz I have a very tiny stomach and I get so full so fast!
I really like this couple! I already liked their fb page on my Facebook last year, and I always watch their videos. I like how they're true to themselves and willing to try different adventures or experiences.
As a Filipino, I find the video of you two to be very touching. so glad because you know how to appreciate various foods. especially Filipino cuisine! love you alyssa and charles!!
I enjoy seeing them try Filipino food for the first time. It's always fascinating to see their reactions and hear their thoughts on the unique flavors and ingredients. The joy and excitement on their faces as they discover new dishes is truly contagious.
omggg im so happy with this video. honestly, the adobo doesn't actually look like adobo. the sauce is supposed to be darker than that. the pansit bihon always comes with either lime, lemon, or calamansi and supposed to be mixed with the bihon. the lumpiang shanghai is just egg roll but the inside is just pork meat with minced carrots and other seasoning. the ube ice cream is actually made from purple yam. and honestly all filipino dish actually tastes better with fresh hot rice.... i love yall's reaction
OMG, I'm cryin with that mixed adobo-rice-salad hahahaha, you're not supposed to mixed it. And with that little orange as you said, you have to squeeze it and let the juice mixed with the noodles.
As a Filipina fan of yours, I am very happy that you guys tried our foods. Really like the fact that you guys are very open to try other cuisines. You guys are my favourite couple vloggers, ever! ♥️
2:08 Alyssa The one on your right is a sauce made with pig liver, vinegar, and spices. It's the perfect medley of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors that pair well with crispy pork and our many favorite dishes. And on your left is called Atchara (also spelled achara or atsara) is a pickle made from grated unripe fruit papaya originating from the Philippines. This dish is often served as a side dish for fried or grilled foods.

For the Adobo (marinade) Chicken, it shouldn’t taste like a taco, but everyone has their own version of our national dish. Oh and the salad was just a garnish or your daily vegetables for the day. 😅😂 Same goes for the Sisig. Every time you give comments about the food, it gave me chills. We might be a "not so rich" country but our food is top notch. Thank you for the content and honest opinions. I hope you can pay a visit here in the Philippines especially the wonders of it. ❤❤
The small orange you’re referring to is called “Calamansi” or Filipino lemon. U gotta squeeze that into the Pancit Bihon so that it’ll taste more delicious
If only they squeezed the juice of calamansi to the pancit they would have realized it’s good too :) but all those are really good food, makes me hungry now
The small orange called 'CALAMANSI'. like Lemon, The purple one is called UBE the filipino desert and the Cassava cake is called 'KAMOTENG KAHOY'. filipino desert to. I love the 'CHICKEN ADOBO and SISIG'. that's my favorite dish 🤗❤
Filipino fan here! thank you so much for trying our food. Love you Charles and Alyssa! Stay strong, your love for each other is my inspiration, for real.
Something to be really proud, I am a filipino and this is just so amazing to watch you guys trying out filipino dishes and you liked it.❤️❤️❤️.. much respect for both of you guys...
Yes it is so great when people try it who have never tried it before. My fiancé and partner has never tried Filipino food before we met and now she loves it and works in our family Filipino food truck business. I agree with you!
@alyssa the reason why you can’t decide between pancit (noodles) and egg roll is because you usually eat them together. Pancit is incomplete without the egg roll hehe they compliment each other ❤
I’m your Filipino Fan here in the Philippines and watching you guys tried and liked our most popular cuisine is very much appreciated. And about the Chicken adobo and the sisig, the right way is to eat it only with rice. Salad is optional hehe
You guys are too cute! Ube (the purple thing) is purple yam. It seems to have blown up lately because that purple color is just gorgeous! Cassava is a root veg and we use that in desserts with coconut. So good! No the adobo does not or is not supposed to taste like a taco. Lol. I love how you guys tried our food. You are so awesome!!
I'm a Filipino and I'm glad you liked our food. You guys are so fun to watch. So genuinely reacting. I like ya'll! More power! 💞🇵🇭 By the way man, you look like Spida Mitchell. 😁
I love that y’all try so many different types of food. I’m always the one to at least try something once. That food all looked so good. You guys should do more videos like this. I feel it’ll help people around the world try different cultures of food. Have you guys ever tried Indian food?! It’s so good! I’ve been watching y’all for a few years but can not remember if you guys ever tried Indian foods.
9:02 Pork sisig is a popular Filipino dish. It can be considered as a main dish or an appetizer. The composition of this dish is mainly of pig's parts such as minced pork meat, ears, and face. Chicken liver, onions, and chili peppers are also added. Best paired with beer! Yeah, and it can be chicken sisig too.
Looking at them enjoying the foods feels great. And they're both cute when they are trying to find out what and how the baby orange taste lol. It's actually called calamansi. Plus the ube ice cream and cassava cake's reaction ☺️☺️
You guys look so adorable and i totally appreciate how you guys also try to explore other foods other than what you guys are used to. Philippines is always known for really really delicious food tho, legit. Y'all should visit soon!!
the little orange is called calamansi. it is supposed to be squeezzed on the pancit all around to give a nice taste. Adodo is eaten with rice (mixed or not). the salad is just an addition. You don't mix it. The purple thing is a dessert called ube or wild yam.
Our Filipino culture is really trending right now wow… feeling loved❤️🇵🇭 just came back from the Philippines last week! So amazing seeing y’all try filipino food!!
Jollibee is the American Americanized version of Filipino food, fast food style and what you had was more authentic. I loved the sisig! Chicken Adobo definitely shouldn't taste like a taco but everyone makes it differently. That's the beauty of food, you can cook it many different ways and just make it your own. There are so many good taco spots in LA. The best ones are in truck spots. You gotta come out to the hood a little to get something good lol. Maybe you guys can try that next. I'm in the LA area and have a lot of good recommendations! I hope I can meet you guys one day! I live near the Beverly hills/west Hollywood area. 💕

Thank you for trying Filipino foods. A proud Filipino here 😍 The purple ice cream is UBE FLAVOR ice-cream. That's everyone's favorite aside from Chocolate and Vanilla. The SISIG and CRISPY PATA is good with beer The small ORANGE is called CALAMANSI its good with anything. Especially when marinating fish or pork to grill. 💜💜💜
Awwww! 🥺 Thank you for trying Filipino foods! The adobo and sisig, we eat it as a meal ☺️ the salad, it was not part of those viands. They just put that for sides. ☺️ Usually sisig was served in a sizzling plate that has an egg on top! Oooh! So yummy! It's already 8pm right now and I am drooling hahahaha love u guys! 🥰 Keep safe!
Hi, Charlie & Alyssa. Sisig, Adobo and Crispy Pata are all viands and eaten with rice on our meals. Filipino homes can serve this either in the morning, lunch or dinner. It may also be eaten solo when you drink beers or any other boosts when you're in a bar or if there are gatherings or celebrations at home or parties. We call it "pulutan". Sisig and Crispy pata are the most popular "pulutan" served in our local bars. Pancit bihon is usually eaten with calamansi (squeezed in it - of course you have to take out the seeds). In your case, you're given a kiat-kiat to squeeze in it or if not, an overriped calamansi. Calamansi should be green. When you eat pancit, it usually paired with lumpiang Shanghai during celebrations or in restaurants. The desserts are the ube (purple yam) ice cream and the cassava cake is also made from another root crop and is also a favourite to us filipinos. Your drinks are also refreshing. The orange one is what we call " Melon juice" and the other is a really a traditional one - sago't gulaman. It has vanilla syrup, gelatin and the round thing we call it sago pearls. You should also try PORK ADOBO, BULALO, SINIGANG (in different varieties), KARE-KARE and CALDERETA. Just a trivia: Adobos are cooked in different versions in every region in the Philippines.
We’re so happy that you’ve tried some of the famous dishes here in the Philippines. You should try Bulalo,(Beef Stew), Kaldereta (It’s like pork curry sort of that) and some of the street foods as well. Love you guys 🇵🇭

Any kind of pancit shouldn't be eaten with rice in my opinion. Too much carbohydrates.
@@soccreyes4647 it depends on the person, though. sometimes i eat with rice, sometimes i don't
Basically everything is eaten with rice lmao. Except for the noodles imo
What I really love about you guys is so real to each other 💟 everything is so real. Thank you for loving Filipino food. I appreciate you guys. Love you 💟
Omg yasss!!! Filipina pride over here!! I’m glad y’all tried Filipino food! Y’all should try halo halo Filipino dessert. It’s shaved ice, with ice cream, and lots of toppings!
Adobo chicken poured on rice & eat side salad, it’s a comfort food. Ube made from purple yam, nutty vanilla flavor. I like all of it …
Every time you give comments about the food, it gave me chills. We might be a "not so rich" country but our food is top notch. Thank you for the content and honest opinions. I hope you can pay a visit here in the Philippines especially the wonders of it. ❤❤
Yesss 🙌🙌🙌
What you mean not so rich country
The small orange you’re referring to is called “Calamansi” or Filipino lemon. U gotta squeeze that into the Pancit Bihon so that it’ll taste more delicious
If only they squeezed the juice of calamansi to the pancit they would have realized it’s good too :) but all those are really good food, makes me hungry now
The way alyssa pronounces the names is so cute! And also reactions of charles lol. I really love watching both of u! Love from the philippines! 🫶🏻
They're naturally cute to watch savoring Filipino food 🍲🇵🇭 I like the part the way they eat the Sisig 😁

@alyssa the reason why you can’t decide between pancit (noodles) and egg roll is because you usually eat them together. Pancit is incomplete without the egg roll hehe they compliment each other ❤
Can't explain why am so happy seeing you guys eating our traditional food! Like am smiling the entire time 🤣🤣🤣🤣 crazy! I love you guys!
Same bro same
I’m your Filipino Fan here in the Philippines and watching you guys tried and liked our most popular cuisine is very much appreciated.
And about the Chicken adobo and the sisig, the right way is to eat it only with rice. Salad is optional hehe
Yes I agree just eat it with rice
You guys are too cute! Ube (the purple thing) is purple yam. It seems to have blown up lately because that purple color is just gorgeous! Cassava is a root veg and we use that in desserts with coconut. So good! No the adobo does not or is not supposed to taste like a taco. Lol. I love how you guys tried our food. You are so awesome!!
I'm a Filipino and I'm glad you liked our food. You guys are so fun to watch. So genuinely reacting. I like ya'll! More power! 💞🇵🇭
By the way man, you look like Spida Mitchell. 😁
I really love this couple!! Thank u for trying our delicious foods. Proud to be a Filipino🇵🇭
You in AZ too?
I can say that alyssa really love filipino foods the way she ate those she’s really enjoying the food. 🥰
Being Filipino I love watching people try our food and pronounce the names . It’s so funny .
Thankyou for trying our food THERES so much more to try
So amazing seeing y’all try filipino food!!
happy watching this! i am from the philippines. thanks for appreciating our food. loveyouboth!
I was here to be toxic, but it's nice to see how much respect you guys have for each other. It was a breathe of fresh air.
I laughed so hard when you mixed the adobo with rice and salad like a real salad.
I'm a Filipino and I really love you both even before you even tried our food!!! This just made me love you more!!!!!!!!! 🥰
I love this! It’s nice to see people trying different foods definitely keep it up. I suggest Puerto Rican food it is different from Mexican. I love watching you guys and your videos. You guys have came so far in your content and as a couple.🥹📸❤️
I love you both, so down to earth, friendly good people ! I hope you are enjoying your stay in the Philippines.
I'm smiling the whole time watching this. I'm sooo glad that you like our traditional Filipino food. I'm a fan of yours from Philippines and I shared this vid to all my social media account so my Filipino friends can watch this also.
Thank you for trying Filipino foods. A proud Filipino here 😍
The purple ice cream is UBE FLAVOR ice-cream. That's everyone's favorite aside from Chocolate and Vanilla.
The SISIG and CRISPY PATA is good with beer
The small ORANGE is called CALAMANSI its good with anything. Especially when marinating fish or pork to grill.
💜💜💜
I loved how Alyssa enjoyed crispy pata ahahaha. She can't talk she just want to chew them all, and as for Charles he almost finished the meat. ♥️♥️♥️
Im a Filipino and im so happy to watch this.
I've been watching you two for a long time.
You guys need to try AUTHENTIC Greek food!! You guys would love it!!! 🥰🥰🥰❤️
love all the recommendations!
I agree 💯
Just a trivia: Adobos are cooked in different versions in every region in the Philippines.
yes alyssa and charles you should try bulalo
yes alyssa and charles you should try bulalo
Grew up with a Filipino step dad since I was 6. Love the food. Glad y’all got to try it!!
As a Filipino, i laughed really hard when Charles eat the small orange one "calamansi", instead of mixing it in the Pancit Bihon 🤣
Hahahaha 😂Lol
hahaha talaga kinain nya ehh🤣🤣
HAHAHA Doon rin ako natawa sa part nayon
HAHAHAH
Lmfaooo 🤣🤣🤣
We’re so happy that you’ve tried some of the famous dishes here in the Philippines. You should try Bulalo,(Beef Stew), Kaldereta (It’s like pork curry sort of that) and some of the street foods as well. Love you guys 🇵🇭
Actually the beef stew is the caledereta and the bulalo is the beef soup.
I would like to thank you, Charles and Alyssa, for allowing us to be a part of your life by showing us all of your magnificent videos you do on a daily basis, so once again I thank you, thank you, and thank you again. 💙🙏🏽🙏🏽💙
I like how Alyssa put the generous amount of food into her mouth. So Filipino way.
