wow . The value provided in this video is beyond amazing . Only a finance related person can understand how much work is done on worksheets just to make it easy for user and that too is provided for free. good job done !! are you a CPA? love to get intouch with you over linkedin .
Amanda, I am looking for a video on creating an expense log for my business. I want to be able to track all of my business write offs (gas, food, ads ,workshops etc) so at the end of the year I can give my accountant the entire excel file instead of a box full of receipts. Do you have a video for that? I could not find that in your playlist. Cheers!!
thanks for the nice video, at 5:32 you collapse those rows (maybe you grouped them) but could you let me know how you got those little triangles in between the numbers that indicate hidden rows?
I'll be checking out the school in Spring. I currently have a DBA and it needs to be renewed in Spring. I was thinking about getting an LLC instead of renewing the DBA. I'm in TX.
Making money is funning? Contributing to the society that enabled you to make money isn't fun?? Find it fun and it'll be easier to make more, otherwise I see it subconsciously hold people back all the time. Yes, we are paying too much taxes but yes, we can change it!
Hello, Miss Amanda. This is Rickey Hughes. I have just watched your most recent video, I believe, about setting up an Accounting Worksheet in a business. I hope you know what I mean. I may have to watch the video again, because it seems like there is much to remember. I do have a Bookkeeping and Accounting business, wherein it is a small business, as well as a home based business. I am interested in the small business school wherein you have made mention of in the video. Please let me know more about that. Also, I think you have explained these things so well, in the video, wherein I can apply these things in my business. I think you are doing a great job in what you are doing, and I look forward to hearing from you concerning the video I have just watched wherein you have shared. Thank you, so much, for sharing this video. Again, I look forward to hearing from you concerning this, so I can do even better in my business. Thank you again, and Happy New Year to you.
Happy New Year Rickey! Great to hear from you! Yes, this type of spreadsheet is great for yourself. But, if you are interested in doing things for clients... I've actually found that I have about 30% of people who have signed up are actually starting accounting/tax businesses, so I'm going to be setting up a version of the Small Business School -- specifically for people who are doing accounting and taxes for clients. This way I can make templates that help you keep track of things for your clients - whether accounting and/or taxes.... does that sound like something you would be interested in? Do you do or want to do business taxes? Or were you just interested in the spreadsheet for your personal situation?
My husband and I just starting out our LLC (partnership). After registering with our SOS (Secretary Of State), on the email they said "I'm required to complete a 1065 form by March 15th. I getting nerves because I have no idea how to fill it out. Do you suggest I go to a CPA office since I'm running out of time and no business tax person to help me?
This is great information!!! I'm more specifically interested in an S-Corp for a rental property LLC. I saw some videos that said I shouldn't do an S-Corp for rental property until I have $30-$40K in profit. Do you agree? In 2018 my account advised me to pursue making my LLC an S-Corp. Since my profit in nowhere near that range I'm concerned that I was ill advised. Can I change it back to just a sole-proprietor LLC? I'm really interested in learning how to do everything myself to get on track to successfully managing my business. I'm interested in your course but I'm not sure it is right for me in my current situation. The tax season in upon me right NOW and I don't know what to do! I don't want to back to the same accountant if I'm being misinformed.
Ya know, for a long time, yes, I said what everyone else said about the s-corp... until for my e-course CHOOSING THE BEST TYPE OF BUSINESS TO FORM (when & why to form each type of business), I made an epic spreadsheet that allows you to compare your business financial situation under each type of business. Ya know what I realized? No benefit to the S-corp for LLCs. The S-corp was created to allow C-corps to be taxed like passthrough entities. I have some videos coming out on this, but no, save the headache and skip the S-corp. if you are going to do the s-corp then I recommend my course for all of the things you'll need to do to keep your s-corp proper (determining reasonable compensation and pay yourself as an employee)... This is ESPECIALLY not advantageous for a rental business
So everything is just about how you want to track all of your income and expenses (depending on why you are keeping your records!). In the free spreadsheet, there's only really accommodation for Income and Expenses. So how do you want to track your expenses? I'm not sure what you mean by household accounts? Do you mean household employees? Is this your personal records? If someone works for you, you have to pay the minimum wage of your state. So, I'm not sure what you mean!
Hi, the spreadsheet I downloaded via your link is not the same spreadsheet you are showing in the video. Where is the link to the spreadsheet you show in the video? Thank you!

I generally don't comment on videos but this was a really good start video.... Two Thumbs Up!

Any way we can purchase the spreadsheets without buying the course??

Very effective. Thank you!
Do you have one of these for the UK?
My first time paying business taxes this year. This is really not fun.

Nice Tutorial

How would you track household accounts, if someone is only on benefits?

I am in the stages of starting an Export business. Can I deduct the cost of your course as a business expense? Thank you for your insightful videos.
Yes!
Hi, the spreadsheet I downloaded via your link is not the same spreadsheet you are showing in the video. Where is the link to the spreadsheet you show in the video? Thank you!
There are two spreadsheets shown in this video - as I explain, one is free and one is not. All links are provided in the description below!
