Great convo ❤ thank you for your nuance and confessions.
Edit: I would like to hear you have a conversation with a secular feminist, I’m not sure you’ve got their position totally dialed in…

I appreciate your transparency and stepping away from being a performative Christian, which is what a lot of the church suffers from, and stepping into an obedient intimate relationship with Christ. Heart posture matters ❤️‍🩹

Thank you so much for making this video. This is exactly what I went through growing up in my church community. Amen to all you said!!

God is about coming together as people and celebrate this experience, but in practice you guys seem way to focused on negative stuff. Why do you need to always talk about other groups of people and judge them? I wonder why you keep talking about feminists. If you insist on talking about feminism, please actually learn what you're saying. Read some Judith Butler! 🙏🏼

How do you feel about feeding the hungry and housing the destitute? You know, actually doing something positive in the world instead of scolding.

Maybe they are just critically questioning the things they have been taught all their lives and in turn internalized?
I don't think the Bible mentions thongs on the beach yknow

    AI Overview:
The Bible verse that says "do not cause others to stumble" is Romans 14:13-23:
    • Romans 14:13-23: "Do not cause another to stumble. Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother".
    The verse encourages Christians to:
    • Avoid judging others
    • Not do anything that will make another
    Christian sin
    • Live in a way that doesn't cause others to stumble
    • Aim for harmony in the church
    • Build each other up
    • Consider the welfare of others over their own
The Greek word for "stumble" conveys the idea of stubbing one's toe, which can cause a person to fall spiritually.
For example, if a Christian drinks around a friend who believes drinking is wrong, that could cause the friend to stumble.

Didn't watch past 2 mins, but just want to say modesty is important and Christians should be rebuking each other. If you can't hear it without getting upset, maybe you need to think about why that is.

    • @rachele932

@@hideyableIts just a biblical view. Christians are meant to keep eachother in checks, its literally in the bible.

@@rachele932 is it literally in the bible? what part do you adher to? their hair is exposed, that is sin 🤠

    • @rachele932
      @rachele932 Місяць тому +2

@@ennuiblue4295 yes its in the book of Matthew, its not hard to find. "If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over."
If someone who is calling themselves Christian and is dressed super revealing whether they are a man or woman you should call it out. Also in terms of woman showing their hair, Paul is talking about a head covering. I wear a head covering in church or any religious setting. It cant be interpreted to mean all the time or that would mean you would need to wear a head covering to shower or sleep in which is not practical. Can I ask you 2 questions.
      1. Do you claim to be a Christian?
      2. If you say yes to the above question do you think it is acceptable for a Christian to go out wearing a string bikini when there is clear teaching on modesty in thr Bible.
