You should never use pressure air to clean the K&N filter because you could damage it. You have a cleaning and lubrication kit from K&N for sale, when you clean the air filter box it is best to use a clean cloth to cover the air intake and any residue can then be sucked into the cylinders, it is not a criticism but an advice.😁 I also do the maintenance at home, Bmw service costs a small fortune.👍

Nicely shot walkthrough! Thanks! 😃
Hi Mac, your videos are greatly appreciated. My GS 1200 is near due for an 80k service. I'm thinking the bolt torques are Nm & not kN
yes in the description of the video I specified that in the titles I made a mistake and the symbol is as you say are Nm & not kN
Very nice. Thank you.
If it was running good in the first place, why check the valves?
Nice overview, but no instructions. To adjust the valves, the engine should cool down overnight.
certainly ... that's what I did, for this type of work I obviously recommend following the BMW PDF guide
WHAT DOES THE TORQUE KN SYMBOL MEANS, I DIDN'T FIND THAT IN ANY MANUAL. IT HAS THE FOLLOWING, NM, KMP AND LIBRAS, NOW KN DOESN'T EXIST.
is an error sorry .. NM is correct
