Great video brad I would love to see more. I have all of the same types of purpurea as you and found that if the lighting is inadequate or the soil is poor they will get skinnier pitchers. But all of them will get really tubby pitchers under ideal conditions.

Nice looking sarracenia. I'll have to look into yellow jacket as it turns a nice red.

Sarracenia Pupurea Purpurea can stay outside year-round unprotected. Native to Michigan.

Always an enjoyment to watch you videos. What do you suggest for getting rid of mosquito lara rve in the water the pots are in. I have to use distilled water so it can get pricy sometimes. My parts per million is well over 200 on tap water.

+Ted Fuchs just let it dry up once in a while to kill the larva. Just don’t forget about them!

    Another nice video !!
You are a great grower so always questions for you !

+Hamim CHOWDHURY Glad you like the video! I have not tried that method, If you use only Rock, I assume you may need to water almost every day.

Brad, I’ve got a similar greenhouse with the exact same plastic panels (just about to start building it, so I can get back into nepenthese after 30 years since I last had them), how do you find them?

    • @BradsGreenhouse

+Chris Waldron they are cheap but work for an unheated greenhouse. Definitely have to focus on Eliminating drafts if you wanted to heat it.

Brads Greenhouse & Gardening , I’d figured that. And have been doing that with bubble wrap, some tubular heating powered by solar panels and a whole lot more. Thanks 👍
