From all modern racing game that release in past 5 years, this is the only franchise that I really intriguing for me to awaits, especially Genki blatantly reveal some stuff in their channel piece by piece

Ig this what boomer FPS fans feel like when DOOM reboot took the world by the storm in 2016 feels like now huh? I'd also like to give my moments of silence to those who didn't made it to see the historical moment that's happened before our eyes (but especially TotalBiscuit)
I'm a boomer racing fan and yeah I'd imagine it's a rather similar feeling. 100%ed TXR3 2 years ago and felt empty knowing that TXR *was* a dead franchise. And then Genki kind of came back swinging out of the blue. I'd even say they have handled their PR pretty darned well - they didn't promise the world and delivered just that: a good modernised TXR.
YESSIIIIIIRRRRRRRR!!! WE'RE FINALLY BACK ON THE EXPRESSWAY!! I do however feel like the SP runs outs much much quicker than it did in older games even if you're relatively close to the rival. IIRC because of the slower rate of SP draining (in TXR3 at least) the 3 Supras took so long to beat because they always stay close. On the other hand tho this also helps when you're behind as it gives you a fighting chance. Either way I can't wait for the release in a couple days it's been on my wishlist forever at this point. I love that they integrated Kaido Racer 2 (TXR Drift) in the game using the parking area rivals, neat touch. Thanks for the video!
I would love to see Genki update this map to be updated to 2025 landscapes and roads of the Shuto. This game already has the essentials and can only get better. Let's give Genki some time to recover and cook hard. Heck, I wish Namco would see this and bring not just Ridge Racer back but also bring Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6RR+ to PC and consoles.
15:45I don't think it will happen. Because Bandai Namco has considered that arcade racing game market is so niche compared to action, fighting, RPG games. So they stick with the WMMT Arcade machine for it.

tire wear did effect the handling in txr 3 too . Its just the first time there is a actual visual bar that indicates the wear.

After 18 years in the dark... The Phoenix of Japanese Street Racing games have risen again.

I honestly likes Midnight Cinderella more. That sounds more badass.
The chase camera in your gameplay look like it's placed higher than in the other videos of this game.
I really couldn't see much in the close view when I was driving the Mark X. That's how much of a big boi it is.
Funny to know that it was the freaking Copen which is the hardest opponent you face xD
this one's however, appears to be not your average Copen, as she's casually smokes unsuspecting players in the Wangan her wake
