This poignant ceremony honors the heroes of past and present, featuring a parade, wreath-laying, and a two-minute silence to remember the fallen. My Mum was in the British Land Army she was born in Gateshead and served in Darlington where she met my Dad a Canadian soldier, came to Canada on the War Bride ships after the war.. Thank you for your Service.

Were these reservists? Not to be disrespectful but a good few looked very much out of shape and all out of time in marching? Are the forces really what they used to be? Still of course very grateful for what they do.
