Yeah! "Chucking a shitload of modulation at it" is pretty much my default approach to modular. Fantastic!

Nice (and uncluttered) explanation of the module, thanks. I think the most useful part is really at 25m, when you show off the two voices. Many people just don't have space to waste in their racks, and this thing looks big. So, if you just want one super-duper voice, it looks great. But in the end, I find more VCOs in your setup, the better. One nice thing is that the internal LFOs will save some space, which is great.

I wish I could like modular synths, since they're so dang neat. But man, I just can't bare to work with how they 'sound' as an instrument. There are a few modules i've heard, and really like, I just hope to find more to put together a synth.

Is it that you don't like the sound of how people demo modular synths? Because demos are usually showcasing modular, rather than using it as single a synth in a whole track.
You can create pretty much anything in modular, so if there are any synths you like, you can probably make the modular equivalent.
If you want to get into it, maybe view it as a tool in your larger production toolkit, not as a standalone instrument.
