I .am 64 now... my mother passed away a few years ago. All I could do was go back and listen to Creedence over and over to help me. I then found CSN.. Christian Satellite Network. I've always felt that Doug and Stu were as good a rhythm section as any band in the 1960's and that's saying a lot b/c there were more GREAT bands in this era than ever, before or since. They were solid and Doug kept it in the pocket, he was the engine and Stu was the wheels on the CCR Train.

In this way they had more influence than Led Zeppelin, and it is great amusement to listen to their sound; you cannot immitate it; impossible! We tried hard, myself and my band-colleges!
