The AI018 Eurorack Stereo Matrix Mixer is an 8 in, 8 out matrix mixer that allows for the flexible routing of inputs in and out of each other.

Ordered. And to answer your question about more demos. Yes please. I could listen to this all day. Can’t wait to get mine!
Just more ambient stuff? Anything in particular?
And also: Do we prefer the non-talky demos? Usually I talk over them.
@@AISynthesis ambient is cool. Any other ideas would be cool too.
@@AISynthesis I kind of like both actually. Part of me wants to learn more. The other part of me just wants to zone out on what’s going on. Heh
Awesome, looking forward to this! Greatly appreciative of the work you've done making DIY approachable but also useful for newbies such as myself.
Thanks for letting me be a part of your journey!
Just got it and have had much fun so far! Works great in many applications I was missing in my toolkit before. :)
I use it for sends mostly, even for routing sounds to eurorack-samplers or stuff like the Endless Processor.
Awesome! I need this!
Sympa voice, lovely music
Nice one!
Well …this is awesome and I’ve received the diy kit so I hope to be able to make it work and finish it successfully 🙏🙏
If you have any issues hit me up on the contract page of my site. It's a pretty easy build though, just lots of parts.
@@AISynthesis thank you! My only concern are related to the parts that can only have one right orientation like capacitors… (not sure to identify the right one)
@@Hessencemusic follow the build guide on the /build page and use the contact form of you still have questions. Only 6 parts where direction matters.
Sweet.
love it - would love to hear how you find & use NLC Hypster module... 🙂
So sorry for the late reply. I love the hypster and own two. For an LFO that can go from simple sine vibes to crazy with so little work it's really great. When I first started making synth music in the late 90s, I wanted tap/synced tempo everything. Now I much prefer un synced rhythmic effects and the hypster is wonderful at creating those. I also have two sloths and use the two together all the time. Ian Fritz designed the hypster circuit and their designs are brilliant. Their idea for a pulse generator is at the core of my recent wave animator module.
Great demo! But I believe the overlays at 1:45 and 1:54 should read “wavetable” instead of “Morphagene” assuming the graphic at the beginning of the video is correct? I see knobs in row 4 being tuned up which should correspond to wavetable inputs?
Yeah. UA-cam won't let me replace a fixed version
@@AISynthesis thank you for the sanity check ❤️
Hey! Any news on when this module will next be available in the UK? Struggling to find one atm!
For that you have to contact my UK retailer (thonk). I have zero control over that. The UK has it when the UK orders it. Since I'm on vacation until April I imagine they are gathering orders. You should reach out to them!
@@AISynthesis Okay cool thank you!
would this work with guitar pedals or desktop synths without needing to attenuate the in/out?
Desktop yes. With guitar pedals you would want an adapter like my ai006 for the best audio quality. I am making a euro to line interface which I like but I suspect most people are fine interfacing line level directly.
Or re: guitar pedals, would that be purely with guitar levels? No other euro stuff? Just pedal to pedal?
@@AISynthesis Cool deal! I now have dreams of a little eurorack FX processor with this as a really important piece of the puzzle.
@@AISynthesis it'd be more like a desktop synth with a Hologram Microcosm, a stereo reverb and a stereo delay.
@@thelevicole Ok then yeah, you would want a stomp box adapter and if you are persnickety (like me) a line level adapter.
can it deal CVs?
Yes, but the mono ai008 might be better for that as stereo cv isn't quite a convention yet.
@@AISynthesis but using single input and output is not a problem at all for CV? I imagine you could even use two separate CVs for left and right to go under the same potentiometer, and then mangle them further differently at the outputs?
@@racalik it's not a problem, no. Cv is fine.
