I received my Ambient 0 about a fortnight ago. I have been waiting for two months preorder. I was looking forward to receiving it. But....After the first two days of intensive testing I noticed a rather disappointing reality. This device is pretty boring. The sound design sucks and the end result is pretty much the same always. I had high expectations from this device, but in the end all you can do is reproduce the same ambient landscape... with a few little bell notes... and some rain or wind noise... There is no USB either, so if you want to add extra packages you have to use a USB-MIDI cable... and a dedicated SW. The handbook is not super useful, you have to watch tons of video's to get used to the machine. So and so, still evaluating that, but i hoped it was little better.
I have to admit that you describe what I experienced: I was very impatient to receive it but after a few hours of use, I'm disappointed. I had high expectations of it, in particular to be able to make regular videos and make music in the great outdoors. But the few sounds that make it up all sound the same, and I don't find them very qualitative. I don't think I'll be using it as much as I'd planned, unfortunately. Still, it's a good idea.
I coupled it up with my Roland SH-4D to have a rythm track and also to have more tracks. That sounds cool, but it's no longer ambient music, of course.
@@MadsThomsen I am now thinking to replace it exactly with SH-4D. If only I could test myself a little I wouldn’t have purchased. That’s the side effect of online stores…
Sounds dark and ambient 😮
Very dark, indeed. I have to work a little to produce more aerial track with this little box.

I get the impression that it's not designed for pure ambient. Too bad...
