The beginning of this soundtrack has an incredibly nostalgic feeling to it. I don't even know exactly what it makes me nostalgic for, it just makes me feel it.
One day I was browsing through gamepass on Xbox looking for something new to play. I accidentally found Shadow of War, I had no idea what the game was at the time but it looked pretty decent so I got it. When I first opened the game the menu music hit me hard with nostalgia, I remember thinking perhaps I’d heard it before. It just makes sense in your mind and in the sense of the world inside the game. I get feelings of nostalgia a lot from many different things and including stuff I’ve never encountered before. I don’t know why shadow of war’s theme just kind of clicks universally with everyone, I thought it was just me.

I remember the first time I played this game I went into it blind. With the only knowledge that it was a lord of the rings game and I was hyped beyond belief. I fell in love with this game in the first hours of playing. In the siege of Minis ithil I even had this ork that turned himself into a machine and wouldn’t die. The nemesis system is soo unique and I believe there is no other game or will be another game like this in a long time. Everything about this game is perfect. Thank you shadow of war for all the memories you gave me. And may Mordor fall to the bright lord.
I'm a complete newcomer to this world of The Lord of the Rings and started with Shadow of Mordor. I started Shadow of War this week and was ecstatic playing this game. I always get lost in the open world, collecting Ithildins and other collectibles, facing Orc captains and Yet everything is still so enjoyable to play. I went crazy when I discovered this machine Orc that kept coming back and I started looking for him on the map to find out if he would come back again. I wanted to ask: Does this kind of thing only happen to him? I'm 10 hours in and so far I've only found one other Orc who has come back more than 2 times.
@@user-vr2wk3zk3o no. Every ork has a chance of evolving or mutating somehow. And from what I’ve seen it’s linked to their death. I remember I saw an olog get beheded and then come back as the unkillable. Or when you shame a random ork and they will come back 10 times stronger and with cool armor. Thats the unashamed. Even if you kill an ork with poison they might come back as a poison ridden cloak wearing monstrosity. Pretty sure the machine revolves around that rule and might have its chances buffed when being killed with fire or chopped in half. Haven’t checked that in a while though.
The minor chords at the middle are just incredible. It’s like the fault line between Talion and Celebrimbor. You can almost see the wraith form splitting in the audio.
After watching the rings of power, i bought this game and i fell in love with it. The menu song, its very catchy and i can leave it for hours and hours. Very good game.
i recommend trying shadow of mordor for you. Tho the nemesis system is not as good as in shadow of war, it's still a great game to play. Just to fully understand the story between celebrimbor and Talion
