Lets talk about the benefits of authenticity when it comes to business and relationship within the detailing industry. This channel is supported by affiliate links
Thank you for the authenticity talk!! That right there was such an underrated conversation. For someone like me leaving a hard job like pipefitting and plumbing for ford motor company, (literally a work slave), y’all should make a podcast about breaking the chains and not bringing the bad habits from working into your business, and how to control that “freedom” and not spiral the business. Of course discipline is the answer, but for someone who has worked 12 hour days for 10 years, it can feel good to not have that chain around my leg telling me to show up, if that makes sense. I know staying busy is that key but what does that self inspiration look like?
I needed to hear this one! I’ve been holding myself back by trying to be “perfect” and have all the structure figured out. That’s not what’s gonna help me go full-time out of this rut! Keep dropping the TRUTH
Noodle arms here, checking in, you guys keep it real, don't stop. I want a Details hoodie, you have them with a zipper? Shame I'm over the pond over here, I would order one.
There are 3 things a client wants from a professional detailer: a good price, quick results and a job well done. They do NOT want or need you to be their friend. They don’t want to hear your jokes or how clever you can be. They don’t want to hear your life experiences or stories. They aren’t looking to be entertained. What is a professional detailer? Everyone has their opinions (and that’s fine) but mine is as follows: #1. You need to wear a uniform. #2. You need to be honest. #3. You need to be consistent. #4. You need to be respectful. #5. You need to be fair. #6. You need to know your craft. What sounds better (when a customer asks for floor Matt’s to be shampooed)? “It’s an extra $50, I don’t work for free” or “Yes sir/m’am, it’s an additional $50 charge but a smart investment” Just saying 😊😊😊
Every client is different. We actually have clients that choose us specifically for the things you state they don't care about. Not all of them. But a good percentage.
I disagree to an extent with the first paragraph you wrote. Not everyone is the same and I specifically patron places that has character and good energy. I do agree with your checklist.
@@DETAILSofficial Sure, everyone is different. But then again, everyone is pretty much the same. My statements are not meant to offend. The reality of professional relationships is very simple and straight forward … you are being paid to perform a service. Nothing else. 😊😊😊
Keeping it real leave my raiders out of it😤
😆
