So cute! But just a few warnings… he will chew up everything and the bigger he gets the more access to higher surfaces and things to eat and chew on…Cha Cha is still grabbing everything she sees and she’s almost a year and a half old. Her half brother Blue isn’t so bad. But we love both our whippets like crazy! They just need firm control. They are very willful. 😉😊
I remember doing that almost 2 years ago with my girl...a 2 hour drive she did well. Housebreaking her was a breeze not one accident in the house or cage...she did like to dig in the yard though for about 6 months it was quite a challenge getting her to stop but she finally did I sprinkled black pepper in the areas and it worked pretty good. Today we are going to a confirmation class it's fun to be around other folks with their dogs. With whippets training is not about being firm they are very sensitive dogs it's about being consistent about their training lots of work but worth it. That’s so exciting! He was so good on the drive! He was a bit shaky at first, but petting him and wrapping him in the blanket really helped! We just had a regular single use pee pad on the drive, and then the more sustainable one by bark potty at home. It’s made from wooden fibers and can be reused for almost 2 months.
