Not really, usually tube amps are desinged to be plug and play, eq section would be more useful on a modelling amp, and they do that in their id core series, I think mainly because of the different respones each of the presets do.

I can't decide if this sounds better than a Boss Katana... I feel like it chimes more on the clean tones especially. It is a valve amp after all. Should that matter?
There's no comparing this with the katana this app is an absolute Beast the katana is a neat little all in one kind of thing this is a damn real amplifier
@@emoboi311 you are the gullible dumbass. 80% of the voicing and sound comes from the solid-state components. If you didn't know. that's not an all tube amp. It's more solid state than tube. It's a hybrid the tubes are a joke.
@@guitarocd9984 You're right about that lol, our HT's are basically pedals in an amp enclosure lol. Still love mine, and still dig what these have going on too though
I bought one from Sweetwater. I'm not impressed with it at all. Here's a heads up, a lot of those tones that you hear have to have pedals to get those tones. It doesn't sound that good out of the box. But it's good for oldschool rock and that's about it.
If I could suggest a Vox AC10C1 or the AC15. I bought the 10 from Sweetwater about a month ago used and couldn't be happier with it. I have heard that the 15 has a much bigger sound but the 10 is just right for a house amp or small gigs. And the 10 goes great with a nice separate overdrive or tube screamer pedal, it helps to keep the volume from being really harsh.
Very, very well. I don't use the drive channel much because it's VERY loud but a clean boost into this really shows the headroom of the KT88. I don't like the reverb much but at low levels it's pretty good actually. Great amp
I’m using one, you can get so many tones out of it, and has a big sound for a 10 watt. Easily loud enough for jamming and live with a PA. Takes fuzz like a fender with more punch
Awesome demo. I especially appreciated that you demo’d the line out
no trebles knob ni middle knob = :(( next
LOVE this demo. Thank you!
Been looking for a good demo of this. Thanks!
Sounds killer. I'm getting one of those in the future
Did you get one?
Those tubes provide for a very thick sound. It is a great sound if you are into the Blues, Jazz or use as a pedal platform.
fantastic demo, this sounds really good!
I never see this model advertised these days. I have the 6L6 and EL34 models and love em, thought of adding this one to have em all.
$399 at Sweetwater right now!
@@EasyHeat Thanks! I appreciate the heads up. 👍
@@pinkiewerewolf They are in limited stock. If you buy the last one?! I will never forgive you. Haha!
This sounds great. Holy cow
Great amp for bedroom or recording.
Can you disengage the cab sim? I'd rather run the line out through an IR loader or my GFI Cabzeus Stereo..
May you explain the differenti between this and the HT model??
Does sound quite Jimmy Page.. I Don't know how much the KT 88 is contributing to the voicing?,but Pages Marshalls were KT88 Loaded ( Not EL34)
I bought the first incarnation of this amp and i will say it was wonderful little amp.
dcaudio1 series one 10ae?
@@cdbrown30 I own the series one SE and it's phenomenal.
Does is sound good at low apartment volumes?
@@adamrepetowski4573 yes it can…
Yeah I hear that ten years gone type progession type progression 👍👍👍
How could i do without medium tre le and bass?
Well id say if not: use eq in the loop.
Looks like this amp could've used a proper eq section

Agreed. It's still a cool amp tho

The reverb doesn’t work when I have the foot switch connected but it works when I disconnect it🧐 does anyone else have this issue??
Bobby Saldana You have to use a 2 button footswitch

You must be new to the amp world. It's not all that, I have one.
The amp sounds pretty good...cab sim is terrible though
I guess maybe an EQ in between the cab sim and the sound engineer could help the sound.
Those onboard cab sims almost always sound terrible. I turn em off (if possible) and use an IR loader.
Is it usable in the apartment ?
Master volume 4 te yapılmış kayıt. Apartman için nasıl olacağını ise bir yerde imkanın varsa düşük seste çalıştırıp deneyerek öğrenebilirsiniz
Yes
This is the same deal as the HT-5. Doesn't matter what tubes they use. I'm not putting it down I'm just saying. I have an HT1.it's cool.
Guitar ocd you’re a dumbass, you obviously do not know how tunes can affect an Amp’s tone.
As someone who owns an HT-5 and has played and heard the Studio 10, I assure you it's not the same amp

If you ever get the 6L6 version of this amp. Swap out the 6L6 and put in an E L 34 see if the sound changes.
