@Hunter Vandiford hell yeah brother...I'm excited for you...the acrylic Temps look great, so I know the zirconia is gonna be a step up...ready for this swelling to be a distant memory
Is there any way I can tell if my all-on-four actual tooth part is acrylic or zirconia? I paid for zirconia but another dentist has told me they are acrylic! The original dentist is asking me to prove it! Is there a test I can do to tell the difference…the ones I have already have a chip out of them and when I run my tongue along the top ridge of my bottom teeth, the feel rough like sand… Help! To sue or not to sue!
I'm terribly sorry that you're having this issue. You should seek a second opinion elsewhere. There are other dental offices and clinics that specialize in these materials for dentures and they would be able to help you identify the difference. Best of luck!

Zirkonia has a hardness on the Mohs scale of 8 to 8.5. A tooth on the Mohs scale is 5. So the hardest material scratches and wears down the softest element. My question is: It is not inappropriate to expose that natural teeth that touches the Zirkonia as this is a much harder material that can wear it down in time?
Hi, Luis! This is a great question to ask one of our oral surgeons during your consultation. The majority of New Teeth Now patients are looking for full implant-supported restorations to replace all of their teeth. For patients looking to replace only uppers or lowers with an arch of new teeth, their surgeon will want to evaluate the overall health of their remaining natural teeth to recommend a treatment plan. If you grind your teeth at night, for example, and only have zirconia either on the upper or lower with the remaining teeth being natural, yes, the zirconia could wear down the natural teeth. That is why it's not always possible to do just the upper jaw or lower jaw, many times it does need to be all of your teeth. At the consultation the surgeon can make that determination.
@@NewTeethNow If I’m getting the zirconia implants on top and veneers on the bottom should I have any issues? i know I used to grind my teeth asleep when I was younger not sure if I still do tho.
All this techno is absurd! Only a little person have benefit of this ; and for one time it's not the dentist! And of course not the mechanical-denturist.
Our patients leave the same day with a temporary set of acrylic teeth, but upon their first post-up appointment (about one week) they will receive their first set of Zirconia teeth.
Hi, Joe. The teeth and gums are one solid and strong unit made of the same material. For the finals, the entire bridge, including both teeth and gums, are made of zirconia.
Need a dental bridge on my upper tooth and I feel that I do grind my teeth, what will you recommend for the dental bridge, Acrylic bridge or Zirconia bridge
The acrylic denture would have significant wear due to the strength of the zirconia teeth, so the denture would either need to be replaced more, or we could place a lighter material for the upper dental implants. We would go over all of the possibilities in a consultation!@@Itsgettingcrazy.

Hello, LeReine. Our restorative doctors work with our patients to create long-term, non-removable teeth that are placed to look and feel like real teeth. We do not create zirconia partials or dentures.
New Teeth Now is very much a process from beginning to end. We have our own system of implants that the bridges are designed to fit. For that reason, we aren't often able to create bridges for implants placed by other offices.
Head over to newteethnow.com and give us a call so we can learn more about your case. We can provide a quote over the phone for full mouth, full upper and full lower procedures.
We don't provide dentures or snap-in dentures at New Teeth Now, as our patients dramatically prefer the nonremovable teeth we craft for our patient at our in-house lab. There are all kinds of inferior dentures and snap-in options out there, and zirconia is sometimes an option depending on where you go.
Margaret, great question! Because implants are securely integrated into the bone, they should last for the rest of your life. We have patients that had implants placed more than 20 years ago who are still enjoying healthy, beautiful, worry-free teeth.
@@lovesturkeys There's maintenance involved in keeping implants healthy. But when we see patients, it isn't to make adjustments but for us to make sure the patient is being cared for and their oral health remains in tip-top shape.
Why are all of you so reluctant to advertise an average cost for a typical arch and implants or a complete all on 4 so we can see the reality of it all.
Hi, thanks for asking! Fees can change based on cost of materials and other factors, but the Internet has a way of not always keeping up with those changes. We aren't hiding the cost. We simply don't want to misinform or confuse our patients. We share current fees at the end of each webinar for those who attend live, for example. And you can always message us on the website or call for current fees during our open hours.
I had a double-arch All-on-4, and my permanent teeth are in process now, since my surgery in Nov. '22, and my prosthodontist would charge me $3K for the upper arch permanent teeth to be done in zirconia... he won't do both arches in zirconia... the bottom has to stay acrylic in order to take the extra load of the zirconia teeth, otherwise the power and hardness of the zirconia could result in a broken implant, which would be real expensive to replace, plus a real pain, literally! He said that the price is going to $6K for one arch, because of the war in Ukraine disrupting zirconia mining there, but he would give me the price he originally quoted in Nov., '22. HOWEVER, I'm choosing the acrylic upper arch, that will be reinforced with an internal titanium bar, like the lower arch. If I'm a dumb eater and break a tooth off, the cost to repair would only be about $200. And opposing arches of reinforced acrylic aren't as likely to break each other as a lower arch acrylic and the upper arch zirconia. After a lot of research, I'm sure that I'm doing the right thing for me.. good luck! My complete All-on-4 double arches, with two sinus lifts cost me around $53,000! Yikes, right?! But the doctors are both really good (the implant surgeon + the prosthodontist), and the temporary teeth I have now are so much better than the alternatives for someone with no natural teeth left.
I have full mouth zirconia implants. 6 over 4. It's been a year. I am amazed how much my life has changed. I smile again, eat whatever I want again, my whole demeanor & attitude has changed. I'm so appreciative that this was something i could do. My youthful confidence is back. Anyone who has dealt with a lost smile understands how devastating it is. To have a healthy mouth & teeth again was worth every penny. I'm so happy to have a beautiful smile again.😊
My passion in pros is these kind of treatment to my patients. Always trying to direct them to fixed prosthesis on implants
It's definitely the best option for many of those with failing and missing teeth.
I go in the morning to get 5 implants on top for a all on 5 zirconia restoration. I’m nervous and excited at the same time.
Hunter, we're excited for you, too! Looking forward to seeing your smile restored and glad to have played a part in your restorative journey.
